I've looked a bunch of places and I can't find this question, so here it goes.
How do you put a face to a NPC? I have a bunch of them in there, and all the time it shows the same face, when I want it to be a different one. All of the NPCs I make, their face is on #1 face by default and I want to know how to change that. And if you could also tell me how to do it for different classes that would be a big help ;)

Ya, i know it's a lot. Basically just do as much as you can.

you're making a client edit? sweet. Got some ideas for you :cheesy:,
1\. maybe a visual quest system?
1.5 maybe a quest log?
2\. maybe mail for EO.
3\. maybe spell bars for ES.
4\. maybe, when you talk to a NPC a talk box comes up.
5\. how about a good guild system, better than ES where you can talk to some NPC and you can pay some money and easily make a guild like that, and when you hit a button the guild stuff pops up, and the guild master can easily make people different guild levels, can choose what the guild levels are named, and can choose if they can promote, demote, kick, invite, etc. people, And if the guild master is leaving, he could make another person the guild master, and couldn't leave until he did that.
6\. maybe a good party system, where you can actually see who's in your party
7\. Maybe a skill system?
8\. Maybe an achievement system, which has your own achievements, with different tabs to keep it organized.
8.5 Maybe a guild achievement system? So like if you put it at kill 500 joes, then this person could kill 200 and another person in the guild could kill 100 and another 125, and another 75, something like that?
9\. Maybe an auction system that is like this, you talk to a NPC auctioneer, and you can easily put one of your items up for auction, and bid on other peoples auctions.
10\. Maybe when you log in and are selecting different characters, you can see their names and what they look like?
11\. Maybe full screen? always gotta like that ;)
12\. Maybe make it so you can turn paperdoll off for just one person, Example: you are a druid, so you shape shift and your paperdoll goes away while you're a cat, and turns back on when you come back to your original form.
13\. Maybe an admin can set down a tile and it will teleport you and/or your party to a dungeon type place, and when you're there other people can be in that same dungeon, but they can't see you, or when you kill NPCs they can't see that and can kill it right after you did.
13.5 When the people are done with the dungeon, maybe an admin can set a tile somewhere and if you walk on it you are teleported somewhere and you can see people again.
14\. Maybe for the ES edit you can add both mana and health with one potion
15\. Maybe a good friends system that lights up your friends name if they are online, and darkens them when they are offline, but not too much because then you wont be able to see their names. and also maybe make it so you can talk to them in private chat or something.

I know this will be hard, and there is a lot of suggestions, but take your time, and you don't have to do them all, they're just suggestions. ;) -

What version of ES are you using?

heres an easy, well explained tutorial,
first hit F1 and go to NPC editor, shown here,

Next, choose the NPC you want to drop the bones, shown here,

Next, go to Drop Table, shown here,

Next, choose what drop you want it to be, example, if you want two things to drop then you put the first thing on drop one, and the second on drop two, etc.

Next, you choose which item number it will drop, example, since your bones is item number 2, and you want it to drop you would put the number as two, when you go through the numbers it shows what that items name is.

Next, you enter the value, aka. how much of it you want to drop.

Next, you enter the chance the item is going to drop, example, if you put it 1 in 3, then it will drop once every 3 times.

ya cant with ES but you can make NPCs big NPCs(64x64) and for quests you can hit f1, or edit them right from the server

ok, first of you edit maps ingame by making yourself an admin and hit f1 and map editor or /mapeditor, What do you mean by editing characters? you can make guilds by pressing eather f4 or f5 (i forgot), to edit classes, you can easily do it from the server, and you can use your own map tiles by putting it in in client/GFX and put it in Tiles0-Tiles10.

This is a great server edit!
For my requests i might have .5 on the number and that i just because it goes with the one before.
Here are some of my requests:
1\. Give one player an item
1.5 Give everyone an item
2\. Take an item away from a player
2.5 Take an item away from everyone
3\. maybe server built factions
4\. This ones a big one, maybe be able to edit NPCs, Items, spells etc. from the server, not just editing how much of them you can have.
That's all i can think of for right now! Hope this helps for ideas :cheesy: -

theme = well my game is Mid-evil so In the middle I would like a knight fighting another knight and off to the sides Mid-evil scenes, like castles and soldiers on horses and Mid-evil stuff like that
