this is what I have so far of #3.  Ripped tile are place holders,when I get those pieces made they'll be switched out,so I don't have to completely redo my testmap for this.

I've never used it…umm...save a backup file and experiment with spray can tool(assuming it has one).  You may want to decide your light direction first though.

  Beyond that,anybody here use photoshop that can give him pointers?

magnify times 200% or even better,rather than taking straight from the rip,examine the palette and color patterns and remake each square to fit.

  unfortunately you are only focusing on one side of the coin.  It comes down to nature versus nurture.  Even if you blank someones mind,instincts may remain as well as problems that exist outside of their mental experiences.
  Such as a defect of the brain that doesn't allow someone to feel guilt.  Even if you blank whatever made them violent they may still return without any intent.

look in chipsets and search for chrono for best results

just convert the ones you find,I believe these are done in 16x16 squares,so have fun.

if you have issues in how to edit,try IDraw3,it's an art program that works great for that stuff.
