My friend wants to help me develop my game but he cant connect he keeps getting a runtime error, We both dont understand the problem because the libary files are installed. I find this very wierd what is says is:

Run-Time error '429':

Activex Component Cant Create Object.

I'm not sure what the problem is, I've noticed that most people that have 64 Bit Computers have the problem but i cant figure out what it is.

Look for Visual Basic 6.0 Special Edition or Professional. After installing go to microsoft.com and search for Visual Basic 6.0 Service Pack. You will need that. If you dont have that then your Visual Basic isn't going to work well as it can.

Hehe, You must be new to Visual Basic. The problem is that you save the project. You aren't compiling it. In Visual Basic go to "File" and then "Make Client.exe" or if you want to update the server it will be "Make Server.exe". Then you just need to choose where you want the client or server.exe to be. Make sure it is in the main directory or it wont work.

I have added a Eclipse Stable "frmMirage" to Eclipse evolution. The file was orginaly called "frmStable" but i changed the codes to "frmMirage" so the system will think nothing has changed. I have deleted the Inbox button so that doesnt exist.

But when i compile, It says Error compiling and this seems to be the error:

Yes, It is possible. The people that posted before haven't got knowledge.

What you can do is you can type in a search engine VPS, and they normaly cost £10.00per/month and you need linux knowledge to use it. That will run your server for 24/7\. But if u have no linux knowledge you can buy VPS Windows. They are slightly more expensive.

Or you can just leave ur computer on and not turn it off for 24/7.

you need to go on to your router and see if the UPNP is enabled. If not enable it and then submit.

if it still doesnt work then you need to find frewall, Your routers firewall could be on you need to turn that off.

Then it will work.

I am confused thoe.. This program was my only hope, I have tryed loads of times portforwarding it from my router using NAT but it never works. Is there any other way to portforward? :icon_crap:

Ok that is sorted. I figured it out, It was to do with my router.

But this is what happens now.

So Description 0 comes up. Then i press enter and then description 1 gets added on.

Then i press enter again and it says finished.

I pressed enter. It closed.

I went to the status checker. It still says offline. I used the ip from www.ipchicken.com and port 4000\. My eclipse runs with the port 4000 also.

So whats the problem?  :sad:
