    > yea i got really drunk friday night, didnt drink much on saturday kinda ran out of liquor LOL.
    >
    > also found out today Saturday had a record amount of people there. was over 42,000 people at the festival

You always find something to get yourself into, don't you?
  2. @Furrzie:

    > I guess why i really started this thread is to say haii to the new community, plz no flaming this post.

Why would anyone flame you for an introduction? Not _everyone_ is mean here. Welcome to the forums and enjoy using Eclipse. If you end up liking the engine for your projects, be sure to thank the developer Robin, for his work.

    > Basically the new system, you don't get LP for performing actions, you get LP over time by studying items called curiosities in your study window (new character tab). Each curio has a particular LP value and a time spent to study it; once a curio is done studying you get the LP from it. This study time happens whether your hearthling is online or not; so it is much better for casual play than the old system, although you do have to log in often enough to make sure you keep studying whatever you can.

    Adding onto this:

The more Intel. you have, the more you can study. It increases your "attention" which each curiosity takes up a certain amount of. You can increase your income of LP from curiosities in the same method as the old system. Just pump up your learning rate. The quality of the curiosity helps too.

Ant hills and cow cones are your friends in the beginning.

EDIT: Oh yeah, there's also a discovery system. You have to discover things before crafting them now. Merely picking them up off the ground or taking from a crate doesn't cut it. For instance, if you want to make a bone saw, you have to butcher an animal that has a bone. Then you'll get LP for discovery, and new craft options if you have the correct skills.

Careful there Rush. People are crazy in this world. D: LIKE ANNA!

    > Someone called me a cheater once because I was running faster than he was, he was serious about it. Let's entirely discard the fact that Battlefield games have unlocks that let you run faster than others, take more punishment, have more ammo… let's entirely discard that because I suck at games. People who aim better than you, people who have better reflexes and react faster, people who know the map better, people who play longer than you and have better equipment, people who can headshot with a sniper-rifle... dem hackers!

Not to mention that when you're playing online, there's this fancy little thing called latency.
  6. Another idea would be to have a class that can reborn at an earlier level. However that class could be harder to use. (Maybe like a support class.) Just so it balances the game out a bit. Just some food for thought.
  7. @Rusher:

    > Yes, that would be me "^^. But fortunately, I made a new char where I found a Dutch community and managed to get 2 Ant Empresses, so I'm doing fine :)

I thought so as well. Wanna PM me your HS? I'd like to add a character you play on.
  8. > An high level cap , quite easy level up , and low stat per level ?
    > I think it's quite common in mmorpgs .

This. One thing I liked about some MMOs, was that they gave you multiple mobs that are around the same level groups. So you don't have to grind the same monster for 5-10 levels. And it'll give you different drops and stuff.

I agree. I only made it to about 15 seconds, couldn't keep interest to continue.
