Open beta starts today. This thread is pretty much useless now.

Maybe you could have it extract the new executable and add the new version number to to the file name. After that have it start the new version then delete itself? Could that be done?

Umm… how is this supposed to update if the changes you made are within the client's source? To update, would it not have to extract the new client over the old one, therefore deleting the old one? How can it continue the update if it's been deleted?

Stable doesn't crash at first, but when you get actual traffic on your server it's a piece of crap and won't even let people log in.
And it may seem ES is easier to use but you are dead wrong. -

Open your Client project and hit Ctrl+F and search Entire Project for vbkey. Once you do that, the rest is actually self-explanatory.

Yeah… now that I think about it that's probably the truest thing I've heard in weeks. -
It is possible.
However having Enter as the attack button will seriously screw with people's conversations ingame.
I recommend something more like Z as attack, X as spells, and add a Push Enter to talk feature so people don't have to say zxxxxxxxxxzzzzxzzxzzzzxzzz every 10 seconds. -

Just because something isn't up to your standards doesn't mean it's wrong. It works, so it was done right. Maybe not in the best way admittedly but it is the best way to do it that has been released. -

Even with Light Armor, your speed should decrease.
But then again games never do seem to make any logical sense… -

Changing frame count is a default feature is PVO. If your making a sidescroller just use that. If your not, download PVO, and study how Miguu did it in the source code and do the same in EO, minus the jumping/landing part. -
