@Prince: > Just make one from a auto updater like triad patcher.Use Marsh updater. It's easy. Triad huh, I was using clickteam cuz that's where I got my Installer, but I'll try Triad. I hope it's as easy as you say -_-"'

Oh I see, thank you. Just need to get this patcher running and all will be fine(as soon as someone answers my question about the patcher in my other thread >.>)

One of my new users reported this to me. ![](http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/8467/screenshot0s.png) Everytime anyone moves they leave an image behind. It's like a bad episode of Reboot. O,….........O Okay, none of my other users have this problem, anyone know what happened?
-
Okay I tried searching for it but this forum's search tool is completely useless. I am making a patcher so I don't have to make my users download the game all over again every other day. I have the clickteam patcher… what do I do with the .exe file once I make it? Do I just upload that file to my file host or do I make a new installer and include the patcher in it? I'm confused.

@Prince: > Dude im no GFX designer but I found some flaws: > 1:unless he's meant to be as skinny as stick man,he is way too thin. > 2: As far as I'm concerned, every sprite has a neck. > Well first, this thread has nothing to do with how good my sprite looks(well I guess it does have a little bit to do with it, but not in that way), this is a forum for asking for help. Second I didn't draw this it came from an online chara generator. Really if you're just going to criticize art that isn't even draw by me don't bother posting.

I need to edit the source code to change the way in which parts of a sprite are drawn. The custom character creation draws the hair, then body then legs. I need body, then legs, than hair. How do I do this? If you don't understand the problem here is a pic of what the source code is doing. ![](http://i753.photobucket.com/albums/xx171/GohanX_Album/hairwrong.png) I'm using Stable btw

@Ballie: > Scripts are little bits of code that execute events when certain things happen - in this case, death. > > Check out the scripting section. There's a huge script index topic that'll help you find the script you want. Most will tell you what you need to do to install the script. Okay I found the script I need. I'd use it now but… can someone translate the instructions for that script to noobglish for me? http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,11046.0.html Place new case? X_X EDIT nvm thats not the script I want EDIT cool, found it :D, simple enough

@Ballie: > Solution - don't use the respawn property. Add a death teleport script. It'll solve both your problems. Ah thank you. Umm what is death teleport script, and how do I use it o.o

@Sealbreaker: > but… why is guy 1 in otherworld? I mean, something must have warped him there... or... I dont get how guy1 came to otherworld if he didnt die.... > > -seal Exactly. He didn't die yet he goes to Otherworld, that's the problem. The respawn thing on the Map Properties affects relogging as well as death for some reason :/ I need some way to separate it.

@Admiral: > Off the top of my head, I think you make a new map, have its map type a "house". > Then have a "house" tile, which a player can walk on to "buy" the house. > > After that, he can type /houseeditor (I think that's what the command is, assuming Eclipse Stable supports it) and a map editor will come up, so the owner of that house can edit his map. Thank you :)

@Blazing: > [Here…](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=56545.0) > And that's about it about the most recent version of eclipse. That thread doesn't really answer my question. I mean the mechanics of it, what does what.

I searched but couldn't find a thread on this. Can someone tell me how Player Housing works or direct me to a thread that tells me about it?
-
You still sound confused. Okay I'll use a scenario. This is what happens now: Guy 1 pks Guy 2\. Guy 2 is sent to Otherworld(DBZ version of the afterlife) Guy 1 has to go deal with some irl stuff and logs off. He comes back, logs back on and he's in Otherworld too. I want this scenario: Guy 1 pks Guy 2\. Guy 2 is sent to Otherworld. Guy 1 has to go deal with some irl stuff and logs off. He comes back, logs back on and he's in the same place he logged off at.

Okay I'll explain further. Despite ALL of the advice I've received and everyone telling me not to, I'm making a Dragonball Z fan game as my first game. Don't try to tell me not to cuz it's going great s far. I need people to respawn after death in the Otherworld map I made, but people spawn there after a relog too. I need to separate the two respawns.

Transferring maps from one Eclipse Stable engine to another
Gohan replied to BelialSempai's topic in Q & A
Hey Belial, if you mean transfer the maps Eclipse Stable > Eclipse Stable I'm guessing it'd be easy to simply copy/paste the map codes from one engine to another. That MIGHT work if you mean say, 2.8 > Stable since the latter is just a debugged version. (Come to think of it I should try that o.o) Good luck Belial with all that's happened at CC -
Forgive my noobishness if this is a noob question. Is there a way to separate the locations in which you die and where you relog? Is there a way to make spells get stronger as you level? PS I'm using Eclipse Stable.

Ninja >.> No my IP is the same as it's always been.
-
Stable? Isn't that what CC used on The World 2D? Hell no I don't want a server that likes to 'claim' it's offline just to piss people off. EDIT: Well I gave Stable a shot but I can't even download it. How do I open a .rar file?

I'm new here and am using 2.7 (though I clicked the 2.8 download X_X) and I am having several problems, so I want to switch to a different version. The problem is all the newer versions don't follow the version number system and I have no idea which one is the newest(and hopefully with the least bugs) Also, I have port forwarded with a Linksys router. Once my game is up and running and ready for other people to play, will having multiple people playing the game drain the bandwidth on my network?
