Ok when I used Visual Basic 6 I had only changed a variable in ModConstants and I get the error message:
'Compile Error:
Method or data member not found.'
I have re-installed MSDN Libraries and also tried a brand new copy of EO2.3 -
Apologies, I had to leave home for a while and had forgot to mark it.

Nevermind, it crashed.

Oh wow it just went on to a MSDN menu and it is now asking me to locate the disk… "The specified location is invalid. Please choose another." Dang it.

When I try to run VB6 it freezed on "Setup is searching for installed components…"

Hey,
I recently got rid of my only Pc which ran Windows XP. This Pc is what I used for Visual Basic 6 programming / editing. I have spent 3 full days trying to make VB6 run on either one of my Windows 7 Pcs, neither do. I have tried Virtual Machines to no avail and also every update after VB6 to see if any were compatible with EO3… nope. So I am writing this desperately; hoping that someone has some kind of knowledge on this matter. If you are reading this and know of any alternatives or substitutes for VB6 that are compatible with either EO2.3 or EO3, I would very much appreciate it.

Well, I use Eclipse Origins 3.0 and I have attempted to edit a bas file in the folder marked Src. The file specifically was ModConstants.bas. I edited Line 140 which stated that Website=touchofdeathproductions.com. I wanted to change this because I don't like the error message when you cannot connect to a server ( Sorry, the server seems to be down - blah blah blah - check touchofdeathproductions.com for more information. ). Anyway, when I edited the code the error message didn't change! I used Notepad++ and also tried with Visual Studio 11.0\. I can't find a download for Visual Studio 6.0\. Can someone provide me with a step-by-step instruction on how to edit a source file or specifically ModConstants.bas? I would very much appreciate it!

Alright, I'll try and mess around with some stuff and get back to you if I create anything of importance :) I'm glad you're using 2.0 as it is one of the easiest to edit. :D

As you probably read above, I am need of a sprite of a pet. In particular a pug! I love pugs and I wish to share my love of pugs in my game by adding them as optional pets! If you could make a cream and black pug that would be perfect! I just want the standard sprite sheets though… thank you for reading!

Have you checked out Kevin MacLeod? He does excellent music of ALL genres (instrumental ofcoarse). It is all royalty free!

Wow, I absolutely LOVE it! However it would be fantastic if you could change 2 little things please:
1.Could you make the 'Online' part the same font and colour as the 'Valkyrie'
2.Could you make the wings further apart from the V and E? Because it is a little hard to read.

Hi,
I have read a post concerning this a few months ago which has been marked 'Resolved' yet… it hasn't been.
Basically, the server list window that comes up when you load up the client OR exit the client doesn't have changeable GUI and is an inconvenience. People have suggested to set my server as Default, but there is still a problem when I exit my client. So if someone has any knowledge on this predicament I would very much appreciate it. :lol: Thank You for reading.

Hi ^_^ I'm designing a new game called 'Valkyrie Online' with the Eclipse Origins Client/Server!
If someone who is willing to create a mock-up for Valkyrie Online is reading, this is the style requested:
An Angelic Top Half with a Corrupt Bottom Half.

I know this seems specific but Valkyrie in large letters with a line under, the word Online is in the line
