  1. Maybe he's new to it. Yeah, he deserves some credit. Being rude is not constructive criticism, Robin.

If someone's proud of their work, sure they should show it off and see how they can improve.

    > That's the lowest form of argument you could possibly make. What does game making ability have to do with being able to pass criticism on something? It's the exact same thing as saying "Hurr durr, don't talk shit about my drawing of this elephant unless you can do better yourself."

Hmm.. I don't think we'll see eye to eye on this. Because I don't agree with your your example of "Hurr durr, don't talk shit about my drawing of this elephant unless you can do better yourself." I think you can criticize anything, no matter your skill level, but that's not the same as talking shit and hating. If someone can draw better you make yourself out for a fool if you hate on them. Jealousy is what it is.
  3. ‘All men are created equal’ is a quote from the American Constitution. This quote has been used in many great pieces of inspirational literature including in Martin Luther King’s ‘I Have a Dream’ speech. His argument stated that the founding fathers left a promise to the people, that all men, African Americans, religious folk, and all others would be guaranteed the unalienable ‘rights’ to ‘life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.’ I believe that this right belongs to the gay community as well!

I am a supporter of gay rights for many reasons. Three of my main reasons are that gays are humans too, that their sexual orientation is based on Biology and not something they can control, and that they too are Americans, thus guaranteeing them, according to the constitution, the unalienable ‘rights’ to ‘life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.’

Gays are humans, just as you and I. The only difference is the way they are treated! Gays don't have the same rights as we do: their health care is more expensive, they can't get married in most states, they can’t adopt kids. Gays are denied all of this as well as a plethora of other rights, just because of something that they cannot control.

Most studies show that people’s genetics, hormones, brain structure, and environmental influences all affect a person’s sexual orientation. This means that gay people do not choose to be so. It's not their fault and they should never be made to think otherwise.

The American Constitution states that all men are created equal, but are they? Everyday thousands of  teens contemplate suicide. Some even attempt it, hoping to take their own lives. The reason for this is because of discrimination. Just because someone is different or has different opinions about life does not entitle us to hurt them. What about ‘life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness,’ who are we to take away their freedom? It's their life.
In conclusion, try thinking about being in their shoes; how would you feel? If everyone around you was taking away your rights, freedoms, and your way of life, wouldn’t you stay hidden too?

I speak of those who do not vocalize their opinion - in the closet

but are denounced for their views when they do. - coming out of the closet and being harassed for it

If their words lead to crimes of blind hate - recent bullying led to 5 gay teens dead because of suicide

rise against and do not waver - we are trying to rise against but it's difficult when people like you don't listen because you're too caught up in your own ego.

Am I missing something here? Please, help me understand.
  5. NOT a competition for me. A lot of my childhood memories are of Pokemon. Collecting the cards and battling with the toy figures. Playing on the gameboy color with my older brother. Watching the new episodes (season 1 only) when they came out…

Yu-gi-oh next. I used to love playing and collecting. I have a lot of fond memories of Yu-gi-oh and still have my most treasured Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh cards. LOVED the first season too.

Digimon last. I used to watch this before school every morning with my best friend. But it never captured me like the the others.
