This reminds me too much of Terraria. At least be more original if you plan on having people play your game. Otherwise I'm sure they would rather play Terraria.

Yes and in this case it is correct. Your means something belonging to you. ie. "Your coat is at my house." and if you were to use you're correct this would be an example. ie."You're such a bitch." -

It is still copying either way. Its like taking someones ideas… you don't need to write them all down for them to be copied. Its copied once you start to use them. In this case once you started pixeling the cat using the picture as a reference pixel by pixel you starting copying the other picture. Like seriously it's not that hard to figure out. Instead of making excuses about why you copied it make MODIFICATIONS to it. Not just changing the colors.
