[Animation Question]

Ok, I did some Jawas and Jedi sets, and my own Darth Maul sprites.

BUT I need some help with the game's combat, because we are talking about a STAR WARS game and I need a saber trail on the attacks…

...So this was the only idea that came up:

A lightsaber trail animation. But it was a epic FAIL for 2 reasons:

1: The enemy is under the animation, not the player.


2: It won't change the direction, it looks like my Jedi commited suicide.


I won't give up about Eclipse, it really is my own hope to make a game, but I really need help about this. Please, someone help me, what can I do about my combat animations?! D:

Why don't you complete the basic things* that all rpgs have?

*:Arrow system and a attack animation
