  1. > @[member="Crest"] I wanted to get straight to the point on website, as always when I visit any engine website, I need to search its website to actually see any Hello World code. And no, it is not documentation website, I have documentation on Wiki on GitHub. And what do you mean by that design on desktop is crap?

The design looks like crap, the color is really gross, second, if you want a website to look "awesome" don't use excuses like "i just wanted to get to the point" becuase, the site literally looks like you through some stuff from the engine on there because you had no idea what else to put.
  2. I'm on mobile, as far as I'm concerned the mobile is fine. But the information. It seems like you're trying to make a documentary website but the order is so random and crappy. Your main page should be nothing more than an introduction ti your software orblirbrary, maybe some core features like cross platforming. Don't Showi. Off code stuff on the main page, save that stuff for documentation or sample page.
  3. I covered this song on here when i started playing guitar, it was REALLY bad. Now it's like intermediately alright.

Much better then when I started

  4. > How much would you charge for a website mockup?

The mockup design itself I'll charge 12$: for a one page mock up,
    for 2 page layout: 16$
    after that's it's 6$ page

The mock-up is only the photoshop files they will give a basic scheme and layout of the sites, after that they will need to be coded.
If you have a logo, I can add it in or if you want me to make one, I'll include it in the package.

Typically, you only need a one page mock up to get a basic idea.

    > @[member=Crest] do you map?
    > If so are you available to map?

Not typically, can I yes, $2 a map but to be honest with you, you're probably better off using that money for a different package.

EO maps are NOT worth money.
  5. Sup guys, I'm kinda in a financial thing and working in my free time with game projects. I have plenty of packages. Prices are negotiable and my skills range greatly.

So first of all, I'm a game programming dude. I've been a member since 2009 and programming since 2007\. I recently just downloaded VB6 and am willing to edit eclipse projects again. The price really depends on what I'm doing. Whether it's Graphical or a mechanic. I'm up for it programming wise.

    I program in many languages:
    C#,
    Javascript,
    HTML5,
    CSS3,
    Visual Basics .Net,
    Visual Basics 6.0,
    Java,
    C++,
    Python,
    Php,
    MySQL

[These are the popular things, but the list does go on]

I am VERY big with network programming and Logic Programming. I am also pretty good with Graphics programming. I work with SFML.NET, Web Canvas, XNA, DX7, OpenGL/OpenAL, and GDI+ (which is totally crap)

I offer web development/Web Design and server management

Yes, I can do web integrations.

I am a certified Linux Server Administer. I am familiar with both RedHat and Debian based systems. I usually use Debian, but will be happy to go Fedora, CentOS, or other server builds.

I setup web servers on dedicated machines for fairly cheap.

    I provide MSSQL/MySQL/SQLite Database structuring.

    I provide private programming lessons.

    [Little info]
I am the Treasurer of the North Florida Student ACM (Association of Computer Machinery)
I participate in game development club at Saint John's River State College in North Florida
I teach a RobotC High School and MIddle School Programming class.

    [Graphical]
    I have certifications in Adobe Photoshop CS5 + CS6
I'm fairly decent at logos and interfaces.
I do pixel art but don't expect animations.

    [Game Design Specifics]
I write Game design documents to help team progression and understanding concepts
I program with Unity with C# and Javascript
    I program with C# XNA.

    [Examples]
My Github includes plenty of Programming samples.

  6. > I dare you to find the few titles that were released for the N64DD. =O  If you can pull that off.. I don't even know.  All the cookies, at least!

    *installs Superman 64*
  7. > You do know this is one project you can't rename… Right?  Or give up on.

I'm only adding a few features… Oh man, not being able to rename something I'm working on.... phew, that's pretty heavy man.
  8. > @[member="Golf"] I'll be using a paid programmer to add in features not currently there.

And by Paid programmer, he means a tube of toothpaste who might as well touch Visual Basics this month because he has to take a class on visual basics starting next month anyway.
  9. AAAARRRRRGGG ME SCALLY WAGS! IT BE ME AGAIN. CAP'N CREST!!! I need me scurvey be swabb'n ye poop decks! Poop 💩 Decks!!!!!!!!!
  10. > You just defined what a narcissist is.  Technology is responsible for the loss of interpersonal communication skills. ;)

As much as a code monkey I am, I couldn't agree more, technology has greatly decreased the ability to maintain a face to face for of communication. I'm guilty of it myself.
  11. > Have you ever taken interest into Psychology classes? I liked mine in High School and I think it deals with a lot of what you explained :)

    > Or if you're looking for a more social aspect of it I believe Sociology is a thing - I've heard of it but don't quote me on it

Sociology is probably my best match, I have to take a social science for my A.S. so, I might as well take one of the 2
  12. I'm a person who likes to lean back and participate in "Social Observation".

I enjoy understanding others. My favorite activity, is having a conversation with someone and breaking down that conversation to make educated guesses on why they said this or that. I like taking apart a story someone has told, and try to understand how the person reacted to that story, why they told that story, and what that story has done to them.

I recently discovered a channel called VSauce on youtube which explains a lot of social and ambiguous behavior in humans. Why people think the ways they do, why some people are bolder and more goal driven then others, why anger is a thing, and the difference between Horror, terror and creepiness.

One video from VSauce REALLY caught my attention. "The science of Awkwardness". Now, not that this man doesn't explain things through his perspective. He tries to keep any personal and religious belief out. He never goes against a god and the only time he ever references religion is when it's relative to the topic he is talking about. It's a really interesting channel and the fact that it's not biased is what makes it really good.

On this topic, here's the video I saw, and I wanted to hear opinions about it. I really suggest you guys watch his videos and subscribe, great stuff here.

With this, I wanted to start a discussion post about Social Perspective I think that understanding what he defined as "Sonder" is really interesting. That being said, if you under stand that everyone lives as complex as you, wouldn't that be an amazing advantage in life to help you understand other people. For example, if you understand that people think a lot alike. Such as someone thinks more of themselves and worries more about what others think about them, wouldn't that mean that you can understand they're not thinking about you, decreasing a chance of Social Anxiety.
