I was a talking aboutactually bying my own copy of the dx8 engine. I wwould buy it for my self brcause why would i use my money to buy something andshare with others for free.

You would need to creat a file in your server directory, call it adminmessage.ini then send a packet from the server to the clie t so it can read it. If you need anyhelp pm me and ill give u details on how to do it.

I have a butterfly sprite and i want it to always be flapping its wings even when its not moving. Those of you that know any rpg makers, theres a setting that lets you have the npc always do the walking animation. In this case its the flapping animation for a butterfly sprite. Please help.

You should not ask people to do things for you. But all you need to do is edit the server config for slots. Probably in modConstants, modGlobals and prequistancies in the client side. Follow your guide again and take it slow. You will find ur answer! :cheesy:

Me an my staff members created a lab share folder. Its just a folder store on a database the only we can accsess and we edit the game through there. That way we all have the updated version files and such. Lab shares are free to make. Google it.

Never mind i actually did it my way and i figured it out. I made vb read a png file that was alph blended and it basically came up just the way i wanted it. You can see the picScreen a little bit throught the chat box… YES :cheesy:

I want to make the chat box and the inventory and all the other menus transparent slightly like how they are in robins gamr crystalshire. His game is brilliantly put together and id like to have a few of the same features he has can you help me please

I have made and item called "log" and i have a good fire animation i want this. if i have a log and a match box bothin my inventory i want to be able to click on the log and have the fire animation pop up. How ever i dont want the animation to follow me. So basically when i click on a log wih both thkse items wih me i need the animation to play on screen

Hi guys, look im just taking a shot here. This goes for all the users of eclipse including me. Eclips is a open source game making software designed to make games. Now there were aton of valuable people on this site that were of great use to the engine. But heres the reality. Most people who used the software were just some lazy teens who thought they could make the next runescape or world of warcraft. YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS with a free software. To make a game like that it takes respect, time, patience, originality, imagination and a trial and error process. All of these things are commonitys in wich we l DO NOT have. All of us expected the software designers to put all the features in the engine for us with little or no effort on our part. If i remeber correctly Robin has even explained to us in one of his posts about some kid complaining that eclipse origins did not have a script editor. First of all the script editor just took un needed space and it was very dirty in the old eclipse engines. EO had a clean byte array packet and all perfect aspects of a game engine and this scrit kiddieCOMPLAINED about the newest version that robin had just literally realeased with in the padt hour. This is my point. We all helped kill eclipse because we were all to lazy to actually get off our fat asses and actually learn something. In reality robin was trying help us! Now guess what guys…...its all gone. Now what do we do.... We rejoice my little ponies :cheesy: Should we try to bring eclipse back to life? Its your call.......
