Well, I installed vb 6.0 at my new laptop, downloaded the eclipse stable 1.3 source and installed the newest ELI.
The Socket is showed as picturebox and I have problems cause of this jbsocketserverlib thing.
Help ? ;D -

Ich arbeite grad an einer Engine, namens Eclipse ReÄ-Evolution, mit der Basis als EE 2.8.
In der sind verschiedene Änderungen drinne, wie 12x12 Tiles, auf Pets basierendes Kampfsystem, profesionellerer Auffbau.
Zusätzlich wird ERE in der V2.0 in eine andere Sprache übersetzt, wahrscheinlich Visual C++.
Das Ziel ist, den Client und den Server mit den Express Editionen editierbar zu machen. Außerdem wird das Constants.bas Modul in eine Ini Datei verlegt, damit der Client leicht editierbar ist. -

Ok, where can I change in the Source Code the Number for Max. Sprites ? So far I know, Its saved a Byte and needs to edited for more sprites.

But so people are able to hack this maps to get rare items.
just take one map out of thw folder. edit it with own eclipse and then you put it back.
then start the game. theres no newer map. then go to the edited map and take the item.
Thats one more "-" -

So I bought Visual Basic 6.0 on eBay but do I need a special version to edit the Source and compile it ?
professional or other.
I bought the Beginner Version (on german is it "Einsteiger Edition", I translate it ^-^)
