And edit the errorhandler for the updater.. ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png) Can't change something when I can't reproduce it. Saying it "sometimes happens" is way too vague because I ran it quite a few times, did patches up to 100 versions and it worked fine.

As for 0.1, you can't. Unless you rewrite the thing, I just went with a revision sort of versioning. (Doesn't mean you can't add 1.0.6 for example in your news, just can't use that kind of a number in the config files.)

Of course there is, how else could I get the messagebox with the incorrect configuration. ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png) I just never did much with it and kept it generic. (Considering most of the time it errors someone messed up their server-side stuff.. Which means the configuration is done the wrong way ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png))

I haven't heard others about this problem, but this doesn't seem to work well on Windows Vista and/or Windows 7.

It doesn't change the updaterinfo.ini so it will keep downloading the update again and again.

I think its something related to the UAC but I'm not sure, any way to fix this?

I'm not sure, I've never had the issue myself(Running Windows 7 and 8 at the moment, it works fine on both to me). Have you tried running it as administrator? It uses the exact same INI subs that Eclipse uses, does Eclipse ever give you the issue of options resetting?

EDIT: The issue (seems) to have been resolved. Just for future reference:

Make sure you do NOT include the configuration file in your updates, the updater will rewrite the config file version on its own.
