Hey Rob, your engine is looking really really nice.

I found a small bug.

When I kill a monster and then i target other monster the hp bar isn't showed correctly:

Then the hp bar shows like that until i attack the enemy and the bar refreshes.

Also when i tarjet other players:

PD: Also (i don't know why), with this new version, i don't have anymore that annoying chat bug that i posted a week or two weeks ago.

You should really try to integrate, your quest system into the event system. EVERY SINGLE quest system on this site is, do this,do that, done. Perhaps having a conversation before accepting the quest would be cool yanno what I mean.

I may look into merging quests and events but it's not on my priority list, having an event system is great for gameplay and methods of telling the story. Quests have their own role to play as well. I'm not saying I won't merge them someday, but it would be anytime soon.

Do You want create New UI for start screen and character screen? (aka CS:DE with intro)

Maybe can You add nice minimap with option on/off?

Minimap can show players, monsters, quests and area natural.

Next:

I see this interface is small but nice.

Maybe you can replace a button that open on the next panel with the other buttons such as quests, pets, party etc.

The interface is still being created and will likely get a tiny bit of another facelift.

I did some minor adjustments this morning, haven't uploaded it yet though.

1\. Walking diagonally now moves at the proper movement speed.

2\. You can now create "talk to npc" quests, which are basically storyline quests.

3\. Added quest chains, you can now link quests together to form a chain.

When I got to the right, my character goes of the screen.

Also that 12/10 is very confusing, if there will be more quests to kill one type of monster, it could spam a chat a lot I guess.

I'm working on a fix for this. Don't be worried by it.

I just added in a check so if it's over the counter, it'll no longer display the message.

Directional Blocking didn't work well with Diagonal Movement. It's not 'gone', the Radio Button is simply hidden. You COULD turn it back on easily, but proper diagonally blocking from either direction isn't added. So I had to weigh diagonal movement over directional blocking. The user can choose what they want, one or the other. I may add 8 way directional blocking someday.

I haven't uploaded a new version yet, it was most minor changes today.

+Striking an enemy will automatically switch your target to that NPC.

+Fixed issue with being able to walk one cell past the edge of the map.

+Added NPC Health / Max Health to the target window.

+Kill and Collect Quests will no longer display a message in chat window once you've met the quest objective.

+Added Talk and Chain Quests into the Quest Editor

+Added shadows below all sprites

+Increased normal movement speed of players

+Diagonal movement has been fixed to run on it's own constant, now moves at the same speed as regular left/right/up/down movement speeds.

Didn't get much done today, was a very busy day, here is a screenshot of what I did add.

I've updated the ItemDescription box to include a label for + stats. Example; if an item is a weapon that does 6 damage, and also + 20 strength, it should show up with the

+6 Dmg

+20 Str

Try doing one like the one in DE it looks really nice, as it includes required class, level, and stats. And it also includes the stat bonuses, damage, and speed.

Your work is jawdropping, and this build is truly the next step forward, bringing Eclipse right back into the leading generation of 2D ORPG Engines, and I congratulate all of your work so far.

I will most definitely look forward to your future position as Head Developer, Your work has blown me away ever since I saw it.
