I need Help PLEASE

im fairlyy new to Eclipse and there are still some stuff i dont get like for 1 how do you do the :Else comand in the event system???

also how do you change where players spawn???

I actually go in some detail on how to use the conditional branch system.

To change the player start position, you need a copy of VB6 to edit the source code.

in the first room of the toutorial that they give you if you open up the event for the pile of weapons it says

: Else

@>Show text branch…

That particular Event is using a Conditional Branch to check if the player has looted the weapon rack yet, if so it says it's been looted.

In the event tutorial link above, scroll down to the Conditional Branch section and it will give a detailed explanation of it.

I recommend reading it all if you're new to the Event System, although there's a lot, it should be helpful.

Please dont answer if you dont know it...

You get an else thing if you let something check or make something chooseable

Text: HI

Choose: Hi no bye

Then is there automatically the else stuff or

Check if the player got an item

Then is there the item check

empty

new line

Empty

the new line is the ELSE

Also, while on the topic… if you don't want to get into the code to change the spawn... leave map 1 blank except for an event that runs automatically (parallel process) and make that event simply warp the player to where ever you want them.
