Just to update people: I'm still working on Wouterdemoor's logo. I'm in the middle of my exams at the moment, so I don't have much time to spend on this.

Hi, I'd like to request a logo for Kingdom of Dwarves. I want an Orange, Yellow and Black theme. Something with a Treasure of Gold, and two axes behind the fancy text "Kingdom of Dwarves". Yellow outline and black inside for the text. This will be on the game [maybe] and/or on the website.

You look a bit busy, but my game Tramania could use some help! Its using breeze, so its a somewhat cartoony game. I'd like Tramania in bubbly text, preferably using earthy colors such as light greens, blues, etc. In the background, a cloud, one side with a "heaven" type look and the other side with a "hell" type look. Anything else is completely up to you. All credit will be given, and I'll even link to your topic

Oh, you might not see the edit Syn, but I meant to write "Kingdom of Dwarves" on my old reply it said KIngdom of Dwarves. Just correcting myself so you don't write it wrong, which I know you intend to write "Kingdom".

I've provisionally (i.e. awaiting feedback) finished Wouterdemoor's logo, so I'll be starting on yours this evening (assuming I don't have to make some changes). Just want to check you're still happy with the current design specs:

-"Atomix Design"

-Neon green and dark orange

-"Atomix" section post-apocalypse, "Design" section futuristic/slick.

I answered you in the shoutbox, but for anyone else wondering: I use Photoshop (CS5 Extended) mostly, but GIMP to handle any vector (e.g. .SVG) files I work with.

I've got two versions for you:

Personally I like the second one - it links the two words much better. It's also worth bearing in mind that the "Atomix" bit looks a bit weird because of the 'chewed' metal - on the high resolution copy it looks fine. If it's really a problem at lower resolutions, I should be able to fix it. In fact, this resolution doesn't so it justice in the slightest really.. I may have messed up a bit there. It should have a carbon-fibre type texture on it, but it's just merged into a gradient.

I'm also contemplating trying to lighten up the "Atomix" bit. I think it might be too dark, but that's really just personal preference. Let me know what you think.

I think I might have another crack at this, I've subsequently found some areas I'd change. Consider these a first draft; just pick a layout.

Would making logos like these work on regular Adobe Photoshop CS5, cause these logos look amazing, I like the second logo you are showing.

To be honest, I don't really know features the "Extended" bit provides. I'm sure you can do anything in CS5 that you can in CS5.1 - it's probably just easier in the latter version.
