DMF Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 first off thats not fake alpha…. fake alpha is everyother pixtel removed. thats a form of alpha blend or something O.o.reason i can say this is b/c ive seen fake alpha in many forms over the years. now to your question Yes and No. it may slow it down but for a faster computer it might not even be noticed. best way see if it wil slow you down is test a client on a very slow machine and see what fps is with or with out it. : ) hope this helps. Zopto Posted May 2, 2013 Author Share Posted May 2, 2013 yea tnx dark for this alpha blending it use another backbuffer screen so it looks like transparent and i didnt removed pixels so it looks like i just put clean brown image and reinder it to looks like transparent whit help of back buffer…anyway i will not going to bother anymore whit transparent things on dx7 becaous It mast load 2 things and caculate alot to look like transparent so it slow down engine...**RESOLVED** Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
