Hi there Eclipse,

I'm Rory, a long time Eclipse member who has been working on pixel art and GUIs ever since he fell in love with these VB6 engines.I used to work on a game called Nin Online, I've worked with Robin on the GUI for Eclipse Origins, Crystalshire and every project he's ever made post 2005.

**Our first goal is to reach $5,000 funds**

I've been working on a new project, a HTML5 game for iOS and Android (and other mobile platforms), with a friend of mine.

It's a big venture for us, and the first place I could think of to tell everyone the news is of course.. Eclipse Community!

The game's title is Go Go Monkey Squad, and it's an endless Run & Shoot game with 2D Pixel art graphics.

You play as 4 monkeys interchangeably and run through various randomly generated environments of different themes.I'll skip to the important part,

but feel free to ask any questions, give me any advice, share any experience with crowdfunding and give comments in the thread.

1) Grammar.

2) Stating that the purpose of two of your stretch fund goals is solely for advertisement.

Those two are complete turn-off's. At this point the game may look okay strictly from a graphical stand point, but it doesn't sound good. It seemed like I was being pitched a product by a teenager. Perhaps you should spend more time and energy developing content for your game instead of looking for instant fame (I'm speculating). Good luck to you.

No problem. I looked at the indiegogo page a little more. Try to pitch your game using the game as the selling point. You should have no reason to want to get personal in terms of laying your life story out on a plate and expecting people to eat it. It's likely that they won't because every other indie developer out there has had similar humble beginnings as well, and practically everyone is strapped for cash; why should other developers and John Doe front you cash aside from you having none? @Budweiser Haha, It's pretty sad, I've just went through it and made some changes. I'm still adding more gameplay explanations and images to describe that. Really thankful to have gotten your advice early on rather than scare away others later on. Thanks!

EDIT: I've just updated it even more with images showcasing gameplay in animated GIFs, does this make the gameplay look more interesting and let it stand for itself more? ![:)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png) thanks again!

Much better than it was. Don't give everything; just enough to be alluring and to draw in interest. The "About the Campaign" section still worries me.

Great work Rory! I've been following your work since NIN, and you're one of the reasons I stick around in these game making communities. I'll definitely throw a little donation your way soon, and can't wait to see where this goes (and play it in my hands someday soon).
