[Unity 2D]DBS-Online

Hello there !
I share my 2D DBS-Online game with you !
Made with a friend.

The game is in it's earliest stage, right now pre-alpha 1\. This is for feedback purpose. 
Thanks in advance for your opinions, as monstrous they will be :b

DBS-Online is a 2D game made with Unity.
It's about dragon ball z and dragon ball super (even though the name is "dbs").
It's not like any DBZ project you've ever seen. I wanted to make this game long time ago but I had to learn before doing it.

It's about a game were you create your own char, with a special "race" which means : Sayan, Cold Demon, Androids…
You do quests and help the original chars like Goku etc ... to save the world (classic). BUT with your own char, you unlock abilities, transformation, upgrade your stuff etc ...

DBS is about gods so the final goal is to be a god.

I have lots of ideas to make this good, but I don't want to make a big promise right now.
I'll put here every news, and you will be able to help and make suggestions for the game.

I want to make it online, BUT it's NOT ONLINE right now. That will come later.

**Please note that this version is in pre-alpha 1, there will be at least 3 or 4 pre-alphas till the game goes in alpha 1.**
**I still don't know when i will put the ONLINE mode.**
**And for now in offline mode, you play as goku (you will be able to create your own char in a later version), you can walk, run, pick up zenis and potions, open the inventory and use health potion (just a test for stackables for now) (for now you don't have any enemies so your health points are always full). **
**You can charge you energy and barely transform in super sayan 1.**

**Keys :**
-**walk with directional buttons** (up down right left).
-**Hold Shift** to run.
-**Hold Shift + Press twice anydirection** to move swiftly
-**Zenis are automatically picked up** when you walk on them.

-**W **to punch.
-**X  **throw a Kikoha (cost energy).
-**C  **to active defense mode.
-**V  **to charge your energy.
-**E  **to pick up items.
-**I ** to open the inventory.
-**U ** to open the equipement.
-**B  **to (barely) transform into a super sayan 1 (you lose energie).
-**N  **to go back to normal state.
-**A ** To charge Kamehameha, stop charging to throw it (if not charged enough the Kameha will not be throwed).
The game is made with unity so u will see a "made with unity" when you start the game.
If the game is full screen you can close it with alt f4.
The game is pretty much ugly, sorry for that ^^', if any one interressed about joining us to make a the game prettier it would be super !

Hello there !
The Pre-Alpha 2 is up !
News :
-The game is now in English
-You can punch and throw Kikoha(cost energy)
-Npc : Vegeta (you can kill him he will respawn every time)
-You have a sword in ur inventoy and you can equip it (it's only a test to show you)

Press i to open Inventory and press u to open the equipement.

Hi again all, i have been out for long, im back now, with new content.
I decided to not put alpha version here unless there is a lot of changes.
So, the news are :
-A lot of bug fixe.
-Kamehameha (yes the real one, the energy wave, like in the Manga/Anime)
-Sound effects.
-A little Update on the HUD
-You got 2 swords and can equipe them (better than before)
-The npc have now an IA.

Hi !!
Update :
-Kikoha got an on hit effect.
-Added new sounds.
-Kameha now destroy itself when hitting a wall.
-More bug fixes.

The link was pretty old so yeah it been removed sorry ^^.

Hi all !
Update :
-Bug fixe (like always)
-New Zenis the "silver Zenis" they gave 5 Zenis when you walk on them.
-The zenis picture (on the right of the HUD) become silver if you have more than 20 zenis (value will change in the future versions)
-Swift move : Hold shift and press direction anydirection key twice, fastly (in less than 0.33 sec), you will move swiftly in the direction, cost 5 energie.
-Sound for the swift move.

Hello everyone,
i wanted to do game graphic improvement, to have more realistic shapes.

The changes aren't big but i still want to make the sprites better than the game (buu's fury), not only a recoloration.

Hi all !
The game is still alive, we're making a lot of effort to make the game Online, and also we are making everything better, like the animations, bug fixes.
And also i'm making something which takes quit time to achieve, it's the character customization systeme, which means players will be able to create theire own character as : haircut, cloths, and also skills.

Hello everyone, game is still going, i paused it for a few weeks, and started again, someone joined the team as pixels artist, a good one.

-The swift systeme is now working totally clean
-Bug fixes
-The transformation systeme is finished at 90%
-Game is more fluide
-Animations are now working better

Currently working on :
-Finishing the male and female sprites,
-Customizing the characters
-Better IA
-Better maps

Screenshots will come when the sprites will be finished.

-Better IA : NPC can now follow the player
-Bug fix (as always)
-New sprites :
What do you guys think about it ?
For the future :
-Making a better IA : pathfinding and attacking players.
-More animations for the sprite
-Male and Female version of your character
-Equipping stuff like paperdoll
-Custom hair

Hello everyone !
My pixels artists had a problem with her hand, and can not work with me anymore.
I wanted to release the Pre-alpha 3 this week end, but the game developement slowed.
I apologize because i also been in hurry for many things irl, i do what i can.
What is new :
-Super bug fixe : the projectiles (kikoha, energy waves..) and other attacks can no longer be throw in 2 directions in same time.
This bug was really annoying and it's been here for a year already.. glad i fixed it finally.

Here is 2 things, but only one of them can be done :
1 : i focus on the pixel art and the pre-alpha 3 is released in a week
2 : i realized that there are many things unfinished and i finish all of them first but the pre-alpha will have to wait till i finish this + the pixel art.

So we will see how things will go.
