gaming ace
Okay, so I got vb6 now and I'm ready to do some source edits on the game client. However, what I've been working with this whole time is just the original EE 2.7\. Not the source version. So, can I still somehow edit my client of my game. Can I just download an open-source client, edit it, then replace it with the current client? Would this be a-ok?
Zuleloan
It should be as long as you don't mess with the folder setup.
tylian
Exactly, because the source your downloading is basically an uncompiled version of what your currently using. If you compile the source without changing it, it will be the exact same EXE as the one you're currently using. DrNova
I've edited my client alot.Removed all spell and guild boxes and code references, moved everything around, have my online list, stats, equipment, and inv permanatly open.So you should be fine, unless you go editing packets or something
