Guest
Im a fan of good o'l Visual Basic. To make networking simpler. I found a winsock wrapper online for vb.net but modified it a bit to the bare minimum of visual basics sockets. Its a super clean 100% wrapper that works just like the socket in vb6\. Except there is no control you have to import it as a reference like this.```Imports WinSockVb.NETPublic WithEvents MyClient as new NetSocket```Simple enough, iv included a base demo of a client and server with a old copy of an abandoned project I was working on.Enjoy. jcsnider
This was posted back in July. If it has any connection to prospeckt.net it is beyond extremely out of date. I am locking this thread considering its age. The resource appears to be a simple socket control for vb.net like winsock was for vb6, not a whole entire engine.-JC
