Don't change the looks, just make it level 72 and change the "sentimental value" part of the description into something around the lines of "joke gift".

Not really interested right now. (Well, I _am_ interested, but the idea I had for an item required it to be actually three items, two of them being weapons _and_ the materials for the third one)

Well I already did the whole crafting system for weapons so I can't add new materials or crafted weapons, I could make them a drop or something though.

Wow! That is so cool. Looks like some serious armor right there. Definitely looks like a lvl 40 gear to me :)
