**How to Spot an Eclipse Addict**

Eclipse addiction has no respect for age, gender or status. It affects teachers, physicians, mothers and clergy. The impact of this disease can be far reaching and destructive for the addict and those close to him. Follow these steps to identify the problem and offer support.

  1.
    **Step 1**

Realize that Eclipse addiction produce different effects, and these vary with each individual. Look for attitudinal changes and shifts in priorities. Be aware when someone loses interest in friends and activities that were previously a primary focus.

  2.
      **Step 2**

Notice frequent requests to borrow money, particularly when the individual has been financially responsible in the past. Keep an eye out for a growing financial drain.

  3.
      **Step 3**

Make note of serious changes or complications like run-ins with the law, dropping out of school, a failing relationship or marriage, poor job perfomance of a job loss and devastating financial problems like eviction or repossession.

  4.
      **Step 4**

Observe the person's physical conditions and look for weight loss, signs of fatigue, slurred speech, dulled concentration, dull or bloodshot eyes, blotchy skin, hyperactivity or dull hair. Note any decline in grooming habits.

  5.
      **Step 5**

Put aside judgment and be open-minded and supportive. Express your concern and offer to help the person seek professional assistance.

6.
      **Step 6**

VOTE FOR ECLIPSE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD
