Mulkaar Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 Ah ok…Still don't see how the big lumps are but anywayz...the smaller water rocks need better shading no offence but the shading is terrible, it's just like random splatters of colour...try working on your shading. like a light source but other than that overall 7/10 (Sorry just not my cuppa tea). zade_o Posted December 28, 2008 Author Share Posted December 28, 2008 Pretty sure the majority of graphic artists would agree that a smooth shaded rock doesn't look like a rock cus it would look too smooth and plastic like. zade_o Posted January 5, 2009 Author Share Posted January 5, 2009 I know I need to redo cliffs, I'm not too worried about that right now, I wanna get more tiles done so I can put out an early version of the game and then go back and do stuff like change cliffs. but anyways…UPDATE --Swamp(like) tiles-mushrooms-dead trees-dead bushesSwamps have different water from the ocean btw... and some swamp tiles have a little sparkle just to make it prettier.Taking me a while to make more cus my winter break has been real hectic. Sooo… blame the vikings.Any other ideas for town tiles I should make? (other than doors… i just got so excited when i finished the building lol)P.S.
