The Oracle
that's pretty cool. Did you use an engine or something, or put it together in photoshop?

munro
Nice. 3D isnt actually as hard as people make it seem. Keep tring looking forward to your custom trees.
Jarvis
Wow.. Looks a bit blurry in some areas (pixelated is what they call it I think?), but for the most part, it's great! If I were making a 3D game, you'd be hired lol.. I somehow like the look of that 3D image there, and would like to see that nice level of detail used in a 3D game some day. Dark Crusade
My main issues with it would be the sudden sharp horizon, and the fact the water edges. The water appears 100% opaque, but instead should have some level of transparency so you can see the edges of the landform descend.
randommembernot ArchAngel
the clouds look funky, anyway i agree with kreator though the horizon is too close
L0lz
That's the ugliest sky ever. But everything else is exceptionally well. I'm only learning 3ds max through it's old version Q_Q.

Devogen
Sky needs some work Chief, if your using 3dsMax use a sky dome, and if you are using on, make it like 10 times the size, so the sky doesnt look like the truman show.
Chief
lol, yeah, it was a sky dome… but bigger eh? alright!
azkanan
Make an orang-ish sphere, give it an orange glow, then add a Direction Light ontop of it - voila, sunset.I use Maya myself - i think I picked the hardest out of all of them. That, or I suck? :D.
Devogen
Maya is probably 10 times easier than 3dsMax R8\.ie Maya has mesh-brushes that auto-texture… to do that in max is several steps.
Chief
would you suggest gettin maya? I have no idea what im doing on grounds of 3D…
