First time i using eclipse. Works fine easy to make a level but i have a couple of problems :confused:. I started to make myself admin and then i maked start level and reading in the forum. Then i realised, almost everybody knows how to script i have read that scripting is hard and taks long time to learn. is this true? is it realy very hard?? Need any tip i can get.  :cheesy: please help :)

I've heard scripting is hard yet easy once you get past the beginner stage. Seriously mate. Just try it and have fun. Games are something to mess aroudn and make. if you dont like scripting ask someone to script for you.

yeah. Scripting is actually quite easy once you get the hang of it…But lemme tell you scripting is **NOTHING** compared to programming.

The best thing to do is follow a simple VB6 tutorial so you know the basics of VB6, and then you can hop right into scripting. (thats how I did it)

yes. VB6 is just like sadscript cept there aren't any sadscript  tutorials (or at least  that i know of) anywhere besides these forums (correct me if im wrong)

Don't worry about scripting right away. Worry about learning how to map, make spells, items, NPCs, and balancing them first.

Worry about Scripting when you are skilled enough with the engine to actually make a game worth scripting for.

My opinion: Sadscript is easy to learn more or less. I think that it's really hard to apply to more advanced things.
