No tiles are showing. That's the gray form. Your blitting procedures aren't working, then. You might have to mess with Wine to get the DirectX working for Eclipse

And Wine is not for Mac or Linux. Hell, you could run it on Windows. It's an API emulator, contrary to what some people think, not an Windows emulator. You could theoretically run Wine on Vista to be able to use older Windows programs that are no longer compatible.

[Explain this then.](http://www.winehq.org/) Says on the top of the page, "Runs windows applications on Linux, BSD, Solaris and Mac OS X".

I meant that it wasn't specifically for those OSs. You missed my point. You two were going back and forth about whether it was for Mac or Linux. It's _for_ neither. It's just an application that emulates an API. It works pretty much where you run it.

Wine is supposed to emulate DirectX already. You shouldn't have to install DirectX, but it might be worth a shot. Just make sure you also have all the required files. I've not tried Eclipse on Wine yet, so I can't say for certain, but give it a try. I might try, myself.

What doesn't work, the terminal command or wine running Eclipse? Wow, Sorry I was REALLY not thinking straight when I made that post. I took the bash out of bashing :/

Try dropping sudo so you don't run as root. Then you will remain as your user when sh'ing.
