Gleech
Um… don't the maps start OUT grey? And isn't WINE for Mac users? *Is partly a Mac user*You have to add tiles by yourself, if I'm correct.
davirxx
wine is for linux users… i know that i must add the tiles from myself and i know it, but i can't do it, because the map is grey and my character is hidden!

Gleech
Hm… Could it be that the grey tiles are under the fringe setting? Also, WINE is also for Mac. I have it on my mac, though, it really fails for me since half the time it doesnt even run the EXE files like it should.
davirxx
no it isn't grey tiles… i tried to move them or paste new on (i had eclipse on windows and it worked well!!!! i can use it...) the entire map is grey and my character is hidden...WINE IS FOR LINUX! balliztik1
No tiles are showing. That's the gray form. Your blitting procedures aren't working, then. You might have to mess with Wine to get the DirectX working for EclipseAnd Wine is not for Mac or Linux. Hell, you could run it on Windows. It's an API emulator, contrary to what some people think, not an Windows emulator. You could theoretically run Wine on Vista to be able to use older Windows programs that are no longer compatible. balliztik1
I meant that it wasn't specifically for those OSs. You missed my point. You two were going back and forth about whether it was for Mac or Linux. It's _for_ neither. It's just an application that emulates an API. It works pretty much where you run it.Wine is supposed to emulate DirectX already. You shouldn't have to install DirectX, but it might be worth a shot. Just make sure you also have all the required files. I've not tried Eclipse on Wine yet, so I can't say for certain, but give it a try. I might try, myself. Gleech
I didnt MEAN that it was for one. I was just kinda wondering if he was a Mac user, since WINE is popular between Mac users.I know its for more than one system.

I took the bash out of bashing :/Try dropping sudo so you don't run as root. Then you will remain as your user when sh'ing.
