Admiral Refuge
1 cup of warm water mixed with two tbsp. of honey. Then 2 1/4 tsp. of yeast, letting it sit for abit till it gets foamy.3 cups flour, mix with 4 tsp. of gluten (optional), 1 1/2 tsp. of salt, and 1/4 cup of vegetable oil.Threw it into the bread machine, and let it cook on light settings, small mode, white bread. The result was a pretty soft loaf of bread; wasn't difficult to cut after it cooled...I may have used abit too much salt, but using honey instead of sugar worked out very well. Monkey Boy
All around the house. It smelled so good. I just spread some butter on the bread, it tasted amazing. The bread was so hot, the house smelled like bakery, lol, I make my own bread these days.
Drummerpete
We made chocolate bread once - I can't remember what the recipe was but it was pretty nice.
In7el3ct
Big thing. Don't accidentally add tablespoons of salt instead of teaspoons. Your bread won't rise much and it'll be salty as hell.On the up side, it stays fresh a bit longer and tastes good in soups.
Draken
im surprised you used that much yeast. when i use to work at a doughnut shop we would use only 3 grams of yeast for around 12 dozen doughnuts. So it just seems a bit high to me /shrug. other then that sounds good
