.:UPDATE:.
It's been awhile folks, but I'm back and drawing more artwork for EC. So to start this thread off again here are two creatures you'll be seeing in the wild. The Stirge and the Steel Scorpion.

I like the scorpion, it's simple and doesn't have all the unnecesary detailies… the stirge wings are fubar, I would redraw them, would look defenetly better if you just make them blured out due to uber fast motion - right now they look flat and don't fit the detailed pic.

My original idea for the wings was to have them blurred because of super fast motion. After I did it though I was worried people wouldn't be able to see if they were wings or not.

I'm sure we would get the general gist anyone who doesn't get that is a moron haha, just post 2 blurred images, very blurred and slightly blurred then we can preview and decide on the best one, also with concept art I find that doing concept art for loads of creatures gets very tiresome so try to do small sketch studies of different angles and variations of the monster i.e a Wolf –-> Wolf howling, Alpha Wolf, Dire Wolf. Doing small studies makes the concept art look interesting too, remember although it's concept art it doesn't always have to be clean. That is just my personal preference. I prefer scribbles to clean lines.
