Sex Workers Union in Ambardia

This is not a joke.

  On this coming Wed June 23rd at 8pm Ambardia server time, Ambardia will host a new event. This event will be a chat sit in with various people of interest. The first chat sit in will be with Veronica. Veronica is a professional sex worker in New Orleans and she is also a member of the Professional Sex Workers Guild [http://www.iusw.org/](http://www.iusw.org/).
  If you have ever been curious about the whole sex workers industry (this means pay for sex over phone, internet, etc.) then you might like this first chat in. You will be able to ask Veronica questions about here field. You can even use Ambardia to private chat with Veronica.

  This is not a "chat in" to become involved in any form of pornographic involvement. This is strictly a chat to become informed about our world and engage in intelligent conversation.

  If this goes well I plan to have a monthly "Chat In" with other persons of interest in various fields of the most uncomfortable or taboo areas of human society.

  Veronica is a real person who I personally know and has agreed to appear on Ambardia.

If you are interested and plan to attend please reply to this post. I hope to have some fun door prizes to those who do reply.

When I lived in New Orleans I used to go to Sex Worker events. They were open to the public and they would have different things like comedy night or silent auctions all to raise awareness for various local charities. It was all clean fun btw.

Actually the majority of my dedicated players are over 20\. Also, despite the name this is not about porn or sex. It's more of a fun chat that is going to boarder more on comedy. Any one who gets out of l ine will be ejected.

In years to come, people will ask "What was the first chat in event?".

You, as one of the top ten MMORPGs in the world, will then have the shame of saying "Sex Workers."

I'm just kidding, I don't have anything against… Sex Workers. Still, field day for the press, eh?

lol, I'm a bit excited about its controversial nature. It will also be a fun wake up call when others actually see how legitimate this type of work is.

@Ambard:

> Hu? I'm confused.

Although I was being slightly sarcastic, my question is - How are you going to keep seperate sexual chat out of your game during this event when you want your players to talk with someone who does just that?

@Ballie:

> He never said that. All he said was "This is not a "chat in" to become involved in any form of pornographic involvement." Talking to a sex worker and becoming involved in that world are two completely different things. There's no contradiction.

So you are supposed to talk to her about the weather, or how her day has been going? If so, then what's the point? If not, then I see a contradiction. Talking about sex and saying you don't want people talking about sex is, to me, a contradiction.

I read that a sex worker is going to chat with others [obviously not cybering] in Ambardia. I also read that chatting about sex is prohibited. I don't see how I misread the contradiction.

this means there will be no pornographic activity not "do not talk about sex."

cybering and asking "Do you get weird fetishes for phone sex sessions?" are 2 different things.
