**Introduction**

A new project i start after i finish D.D.Neptunia (i haven't made any story on that engine yet since i don't know how to make a story and no one want to make a story with it, but i still have the source and the resource of D.D.Neptunia), I decided to continue the pokemon project i started last time.

**Extra Note**

Wondering why i put this on Show off and not on Eclipse Project or Non-Eclipse Project?

Because i haven't plan to host this game, I'm still thinking whether i'll sell it, give it to other, or host it

Well if i planned to host it then, i'll just ask someone to move it on the right thread

**Updates**

Update 1

- Started the Project

- Copy EO Socket Connection and clsBuffer

- Copy EO DX7

- Created Player Data (X, Y, Name, User, Pass)

- Created Map Data (Name, MaxX, MaxY, Tiles, Up, Down, Left, Right)

- Render Map on game screen

- Created Tile Base Movement

- Create a sub to move player using Offset

Update 2

- Combined the Menu and Game screen on one form

- Rendered Login, Register, NewCharacter Window

- Rendered the text of Login, Register and NewCharacter Textbox

- Created a Button with Click State and Normal State and Rendered them

- Created a Radio Button with Checked State and Unchecked State and Rendered them

- Render Starting Sprite on New Character Window

You sure have a lot of free time on your hands man, I like what you've done but since you're still using vb6 and copying literally most of the things from EO why don't you just simply strip the engine from the things you don't want and keep the things you do? It should be much faster that way.

What really will impress me is if you have the time to actually get around to finishing the battle system for all of the moves, abilities etc. I made a really nice base probably around 4 years ago(?) when I was actually still interested in this stuff. If you want to have a look at that I'd be happy to send you the files since I'm never going to use it.

Well i can manage to do almost all the move, abilities etc..

The only part that will struggle me on this Project will be the Pokedex one.

If you don't mind sending the base files your talking about, then i'd be glad to see the base file you've done xD

well its more or less the fact of that there are so many and depending on how you program it, the code soon turns pretty ugly when initially was pretty damn nice code. It becomes a pain to read and the mass of the moves that need additional programing for just make you cry and most often give up. But don't stop, keep going if you're enjoying it!

I know that feeling. I think you'll have to have a pokedex sub though, if they click it then it goes to there, then you'll have fun programming all the pokemon in, though you could probably just make a .txt file in your server folder and have the server call it up whenever it's needing to be used by someone and just have the code read it for them. Don't know though, only a suggestion.

Pokemon Editor = Already created but there's no data within the editor yet..

Move Editor = Planned

Just like NPC Editor and Spell editor on EO but the properties of those editors are base on Pokemon

Sorry can't post any update for a moment

Currently solving the formula of the Stat Generator and Vital Generator also the hidden Stats like EV, IV etc.

and the Damage formula.. i'll post the next update once i complete all the formulas and got a decent screenshot
