Well, I've been running a private server for a game I played years back, and I've been pixeling addons for it lately, just figured I'd show them off here.

Pretty messy shading, but I like how you worked with the light to give the illusion of moving.

Edit: My bad, maybe you moved it a pixel lower, you could achieve that without moving it, only the light.

It levitates xD it's like bobbing up and down, looks normal ingame; it's a repixeled, larger form of an existing monster in the original game.

I suppose I could work on the shading a bit, it does look quite messy ;p

Edit: It is moving, game is isometric, looks different ingame cause you can see that it's isometric. xD

it looks like glass, so don't do dithering on it. angle is a bit weird,if it's for a top-down perspective.

Indeed, wouldn't fit in any isometric game.

GUI bugged from me playing Gmod while client was open, but yeah

not the best but meh xD thanks for the crit tho, I'll be posting more as I finish them.

That's wrong.

When working with perspectives, objects have to fit in, but in a logic way, especially geometric shapes.

Here is the example of what is wrong with your object.

The Isometric Perspective doesn't apply to your object, giving a weird feeling of wtf is happening in there.

Follow the red lines, you will see what I'm talking about.

Edit: Take also example of the smaller crystal and see how the lines fit perfectly with everything.

Didn't traced the purple lines too well, but you get the idea.

Yeah I realized that when I posted the image.  Gonna fix that, might as well since I fked up the animation ingame anyway(shadow bounces as well LOL)

And it isnt even centered properly (look at the tile around the small one; then look at the one around the larger one, off by a few px)

Anyway you're using Endless ?

Is an engine out there or just a modified private server?

Closest one to finishing a client would be Exile, and he doesn't even work on it anymore(although it is opensource and he hopes someone will take the time to work on it one day, it's pretty much ready to go, just needs like npc dialogue and its done)

But yeah, I'm using Endless xD Was gonna make a thread to my server, but can't really be bothered to actually write out a decent looking post.
