Tompwnage
First off I was expecting more of a escalating sound. You need to bring interest into it by making the tempo rise as the music keeps going. It feels like a solo if you know what I mean, make more then 2 beats going on at the same time. Spice it up a bit.

Chakkra
Maybe try listening to some REAL Electronica. And stop demeaning my favorite type of music with your pitiful attempts at making it.

Chakkra
Jungle, do you really think your music is good? This isn't to be an asshole, just to help you find your way back to reality. It's BAD. And I did tell you how to make it better, just not in a suggestive tone.Get rid of the guitar, find a better tune, don't just use 1 instrument at a time and the same generic beat over and over. Tompwnage
@-Vegeta-:> Tom, that's one of my favorite techno songs of all time. Amazing.Personally, I am more of a Rock person. But techno with no vocals is amazing. One of my personal Fav of techno is this one:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nl4opbNt8_EWell these examples could help you out if you take the chance to listen to them and compare it to yours. Hopefully you will find the key to making your music better. :)

Jeff
its kind of bland, and very very repetetive… make it more complex, and layer it more. Techno usually has quite a bit going on in it.

Thorn
I think the big thing would be to A: Have more going on at once, and B: have it vary more. You're off to a good start, I think, but at this point it's still not something I'd go and pirate. Bells? Have fun. Guitar? Whatever floats your boat. Try doing them both at the same time, at least. Also, techno can get boring if the song sounds mostly the same start to finish. Vary the instruments, heck, vary the tempo. I've heard great use of the tempo increasing speed by about half over 5-10 seconds, really throws the listener before they settle in to a faster groove. An example of the stuff I'd be aiming at, were I making techno: The works of Infected Mushroom!>! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQs_dv4o3Is&feature=relatedThey vary the tone plenty, and do lots of interesting stuff. One thing you could even do (Depending on what software you're using) is sample some voice clips in. Just stuff out of old or obscure movies works fine, huck in a line or two and you can imply volumes.Think about it. Going along with a dark tone, builds up, then busts in the quote from Behind Enemy Lines "Evade and survive, do whatever it takes."Doesn't SAY what's going on, but implies all sorts of things. Murdoc
Nobody has given you good advice yet. If youre lookin for it, here it is: Have better build ups, use more fade-ins and fade-outs, add more layers of sounds and melodies, and most of all have fun with it. Listen to some of my stuff to see whati mean by "build ups, fade ins etc". you can even slowly add in effects to certain sounds to transform them. the beat i normally use is 4/4 bass drum , with high hi hats on the off-beats, cuz well i like house and techno, im aimin at tech house with future productions. i know youre not using high quality equipment, neither am i, so just listen to what im makin with cheap samples, and vst instruments to get a better idea of building a song with parts, and hooks, low points and high points. :) [http://myspace.com/djcarrier1](http://myspace.com/djcarrier1)
Braiton
Not to be an ass but it sounds awfully boring. Not to mention Sytrus sucks donkey balls and that's not a guitar. Oh and that kick sucks too. Get better Vsts.Say, Techno music is suppoused to pump the Shit out of you.Your creation sounds more like a 30 second clip being looped for 3 minutes, without generating any intresting at all in the Listener.Keep that in mind and make good music.
