Negro.

A Spanish word that translates as "black."

I've met African Americans that were offended by the English word negro "nee-grow." I wonder if they saw this word negro "neh-grow," written on a paper or something, would they be offended?

I don't understand why any of these words would be offensive.

Why is Negro (English) offensive? Is the Spanish word offensive?

I'm Black/African American. Well, I can't really explain….

Why is Negro (English) offensive? When intended. But jokingly, don't care.
Is the Spanish word offensive? Nope.

Most likely the people who call you racist loli are crypto-racist because if saying black instantly makes them think about niggers and racism there's gotta be something there.

Plus you are like 12-14 right? Kids in that age tend to say random things. Boys especialy. Girls that age are just racist ;D

@Batman:

> I have a question. Why are black people called African-American even if they've never been to Africa?

Ander…. African Americans are people in the U.S who have African ancestors(IE: Black People). Hence The name **African-American**.-_- @Batman:
