This is simply a version of the Crystalshire ORPG which has been re-purposed to be used by other people to create their own games. It has all the fantastic systems which can be see in the game itself. With over 2 months of 24/7 usage the engine is incredibly solid.

Here are just a handful of screenshots and a gameplay video.

Please keep in mind that although this is hugely recommended to anyone serious about making a quality game that it is _not_ a replacement for your own skill and intelligence. I've had problems in the past with people creating an image of their own ideal engine within their heads and just assuming that my work will meet all their expectations without fail. There is no way I can compare to an idealised version of myself. Please keep that in mind when deciding whether you want a copy of this engine or not.

The engine runs off of DX8\. It _requires_ basic VB6 knowledge to edit any of the interfacing at all. It uses no controls. Same goes for everything else. If you're not willing to learn and you're not willing to work then this engine is not for you. I cannot stress enough how making a good game always requires a certain amount of creativity, intelligence and basic cognitive ability. This engine will not make up for deficiencies.

Anyway, enough warnings, let's get to the juicy bits. There's really no need to list the features. Go play the game!

To get a copy of this engine you must have an account over at Crystalshire.com with access to the tier 3 support perks. This is gained by donating £40 or more. I will _not_ sell you a copy through PMs here. I will _not_ give you a discount and I will _not_ offer support or post tutorials regarding the engine on this forum. We've had far too many problems in the past regarding this. As such all support will be done through a special subforum on the Crystalshire forums which can only be accessed by tier 3 supporters. For more instructions and payment methods please click this button.

**Custom jobs**
This is really dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Depending on my current work load, what kind of hours I'm currently working and whether or not I actually want to do the system I will take on custom programming work. Please PM me with the information regarding what you'd want created.

Yea I know, maybe some sort of party display client-side would be cool, although I have already done this for 2-player parties in EO, it might be a nice addition to the 5-player partying you are offering.

People will have to pay me to do that as a custom feature. I haven't got a copy of it on hand.

Of course people would have to pay. I was suggesting you could have added it into the partying feature and raise the price, but it might be better just to leave it as an add-on.

I think that was the point. ;) Robin is an amazing programmer and if you cannot code well and want great features, Robin is the person to ask. These amazing offers are a privilege to all of us.

@Harris:

> Is the latest version of EO the final? If so, I'll pay for your services.

There will be another release with a load of bug fixes and the like. After that I'll simply be offering support for the engine, not developing features for it.

I've taken it as far as I'm willing to right now. It's up to everyone else to make tutorials for it.

Programming is not my expertise so I don't mind spending some money on decently coded features. Me and my "development team" will decide on a few things then I will get back to you. I have got my eye on the alpha blending feature.

Edit: For that release, have you decided a date or is it when you want to?

Depends. I'm currently working on Java graphics engine and the thought of going back to vb6 for anything other than some income is a real turn off.

> Bravo. I tip my hat to you Robin. I'll have to agree with Stephan here, and say for these prices, it's well worth it. I also commend you for being able to support Alpha blending in the first place.

What would be the point of selling them if he is going to add them to the engine?

did you think about that one?

The point is, he could sell the engine as his own.
