I'm surprised about how you actually fit the research in with your post, and how you were actually right (your color is purple).

What? My compression format? I ditched it. Turns out you still waste bandwidth, which is more important than space on my server. Plus, all I could do was make lines, rectangles, and text. Looked terrible.

It's now been replaced with the raw image.

It had more, I removed some spam and all. This should have an extra page or two. Everyone just loves my colored box.

PNG = Portable Network Graphics.
PHP Hypertext Preprocessor.
They are not related.
