For my video game design and group work class in school we have to make a group to make a game and create a unique logo/name to go with it, this is what I came up with.

We want to keep the yellow red blue colors.

Well, nothing in it matches. The colors are too saturated( for the T) and boring (for the other letters), the stroke doesn't help at all, the faint inner glow doesn't work either, the gradient behind "studios" is too opaque, make it more transparent, and also darker maybe? Fonts don't match, colors don't match, effects don't match. You got a lot to fix.

Now, help:

color combinations: [http://culori.ro-sotw.com](http://culori.ro-sotw.com)

fonts: use google fonts? or at least use some good ones from dafont and either find two fonts that match, or just use one font.

effects: Don't use the default settings for effects *I can see the default settings for inner glow, stroke, gradient)

@Madalin, those color combinations are optional, you make it feel like everyone is bound to use them.

As an artist I suggest you to let it all flow free in your imagination, you don't need to be bound by other's rules.

As for the Logo, I can say that the Gradient on that T letter doesn't look good.

I understand that you wanted that T to be your short Signature of your Logo, that's good, edit it a little bit more.

And Madaling is right about that object behind Studios, needs to be a little darker to highlight the Logo, and a little transparent if you want.

I didn't say it's a rule, it's just that that website has a nice collection of colors that go nice together, mostly in the Popular section. Never said it's a rule, it just helps a lot.

It makes no sense… you have 3 different fonts in this logo. I understand the red/blue/yellow direction, but try a variation on the colours; slight hue adjustments so they're not the pure form of the colour.

Overall, the direction is good, but cut your fonts down to 2, play with the colours, and try again.

> -snip-

There is no inner glow…..I only edited the gradient and stroke aspects of the font. The "T" is very saturated and has those colors because of "Triadic". Its a color scheme. [http://colorbay.com/triadic.htm](http://colorbay.com/triadic.htm) and the grey of the other letters are so the "T" gets your attention. By the way, nothing is in the default settings of Photoshop.

Ill edit the "T" to make it look better, I just wanted it to be unique and represent a very saturated triadic color scheme. Looking back at it the faded object behind the "Studios" is too light and not transparent enough, when I get on my home computer I will make it Much darker and more transparent.

> That yellow orange, red, purple and blue gradient looks terrible it would look better if it was all grey and black

Its made to match the triadic color scheme. [http://colorbay.com/triadic.htm](http://colorbay.com/triadic.htm)

I'm aware that its usually bad to use more than 2 fonts in a logo and I will change the font of "studios" to match the font of the "T" to see if it looks better. I didnt think it was that bad to use 3 fonts because it was only different in 1 letter. I will also mess around with the saturation of the colors to see if it becomes more appealing.

> Ill mess with the colors when I get home but I was going for the very bright saturated feel.

No logo ever was bright and saturated with rainbow colours. Ever.

You know which ones were? The ones people don't hear about.

As for the logo, I'd probably make the main studio title smaller except the first letter, for it to stand out, perhaps add some opacity to it. I don't know, I'm a pixel artist, I don't do this vector stuff.

Dropped saturation from 100% to ~80%

changed the font of studios

Not a fan, at all. Drag the file to the icon that looks like the recycle bin and let go. Press Yes. Then empty the recycle bin.

This is pretty bad, it's not even the implementation of the idea, it's the idea that's bad.

Have you heard of cooltext? They can help you make a "cool" "good looking" logo for your assignment. Comic sans is the recommended font choice. It'd be an improvement.

Sorry if I'm being harsh. I'm typing this in place of vomiting.
