The biggest map I've needed so far is 30x30\. I mean, I can fit a whole town + rivers/paths + Sea-side dock + walls + Exit gate on one 30x30.

If you need more than that, let me know when your Tajma Hall is done so I can come admire it.

The larger the map the longer the initial download and the longer people spend switching maps. You'll also be sending some huge packets which everyone can agree is a bad thing.

It'll also eat up more memory and possibly slow down depending on the systems in place.

255x255 is the limit due to memory issues. Personally I didn't exceed 50x50 in Crystalshire although the maps Anna made might do so.
