Is it an insult? Or just plain epic.

"Gay is a word that commonly refers to a male or female whose sexual orientation is attraction to persons of the same sex. It was originally used to refer to feelings of being "carefree", "happy", or "bright and showy"; **it had also come to acquire some connotations of "immorality" as early as 1637.**"

Now why is being called immortal an insult, and how the duck did it become a slang for homo-sexual? If it means immortal then call me gay and slap a rainbow on my shirt because I don't want to die any time soon.

Woot I'm Jesus! Never die!! Lol, but seriously, I have never heard about Gay being a term for immortality before. Kind of shocks me that people have been calling other people immortals as insults for the past, what 30 years? Lol

'Bright and showy'

Get the idea?
Plus a lot of gay guys run about wearing brightly coloured clothes to advertise their homosexuality. 'Tis a bad stereotype. Myself, I don't care about gay being an insult. I know people don't mean it offensively, and if they do they're clearly of little intelligence, so the whole insult loses gravity.
