EO ip problem

i know there are other severall threads ,i read them there 2 on the first page to prove im not lazy,
it dint solve my problem,i portforwarded i followed the tuts on config ini there is my external ip
but when i try to connect it says sorry server seems to be down try again later or contact touchofdeathforums , i dont know what to do it seems im supposed to give my friends my external ip but for my client i keep localhost? ^^ thx for any help

are you running your client on the same computer as your server?
if so put localhost or 127.0.0.1 in YOUR client's server ip.
give your friend the ip you get from ipchicken.com

make sure that you are portforwarding your router to 192.168.x.x
you can get this ip by going to command prompt and typing ipconfig.
make sure that you are portforwarding the correct port to whatever ip you get from ipconfig.
make sure that your server, and client are set to use the port that you are trying to forward.
