I know that a lot of your music focuses around the unknown and sensory, but a little back story or structure would've been nice. ZoSo Posted April 6, 2012 Author Share Posted April 6, 2012 Well its a love song actually, i find that the video doesnt relate way to much to the music actually, i mostly picked the clips i liked and used them. The same way i sometimes can write lyrics based on words i like, and after that build the meaning.But yeah, lyrics wise its somewhat a love song, musically its psychedelic.. and visually its mostly random art.My music often does not focus on the unknown, its just that i hide the meaning away.. i wish for people to interpret the songs in their own way, but i have not had way to much success.. it seems to fit open-minded people best. Maybe find someone to help create the videos, and like Jungle said, any sort of backstory other than random images YOU like is better. The video honestly is what made me not wanna listen to the music which becomes a problem, make them coincide with each other and attract both people that learn visually and through hearing. There is nothing offensive, its mainly abstract and can be ignored.. The whole point of the video was for it not to distract you away to much from the music and be more like imagiry, but yeah i understand how it can do the opposite for some people.. some people need consistency, backstory and structure. But yeah, this video was not for those people, and this video was not for **YOU**. It was for people who'd use their imagination.But yeah, i agree on spending more time on a video, and i will do on some future project. You need to understand i did not try to make something amazing or stunning… ALL i wanted and felt i needed was some random clips, thats basically how far my ambitions went for this music video. And telling me to try make it anyway different is like telling an artist to use color in his black and white painting. Its kinda ignorant, but i appreciate the feedback. Thanks.
