This is essentially stolen from a /v/ thread, but I felt like expanding it.

The idea is to post the following:

**Your favourite childhood console**

**Your favourite childhood game(s)**

**Your favourite console as a teen**

**Your favourite game(s) as a teen**

**Your favourite console nowadays**

**Your favorite game(s) nowadays**

And we'll see what kind of range we get over the forums 8D

For me:

**Your favourite childhood console**

The Gameboy Color, in blue.

**Your favourite childhood game(s)**

Spiderman 2 for the GBA

Buzz Lightyear To The Rescue!

Street Fighter II Turbo: Revival

Pokémon Silver Version

**Your favourite console as a teen**

I went retro and bought an NES because my IT teacher said Duck Hunt was awesome. Needless to say he was right and it was worth seeking one out and buying it.

**Your favourite game(s) as a teen**

Duck Hunt (Obviously xD)

Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness

Smuggler's Run

**Your favourite console nowadays**

My PC (It counts, if only for the sake of this thread)

**Your favorite game(s) nowadays**

Skyrim

Minecraft

So post away, I want to know people's views :D

In addition to what I've said before: Age of Empires, Hitman, Elder Scrolls, Portal, The Battle for Wesnoth, and various others.

@Aeri:

Nothing has really changed.

@Aeri:

> **Your favorite game(s) nowadays**

In addition to what I've said before: Dungeons of Dredmor, Legend of Grimrock, Trine, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and various others.

These are not all my favourites, but I've listed quite a few of them. In addition to that, it's quite difficult for me to put them in a time-based category, as I still play a lot of these game nowdays (I've recently finished playing Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck's Revenge, for instance.

Yours faithfully
  S.J.R. van Schaik.
