I think it's bullshit when people say that RMXP shouldn't be allowed/used in mapping contests, it's the most complete tileset there is which allows you to map with more variety. Sure, it has few restrictions so it's not as hard to map with as other tilesets, but when given the choice, RMXP allows you to produce a richer looking map than many other tilesets. I think the votes essentially speak for themselves, with kibbelz and duders winning with their RMXP maps.Anyways, I voted Justin Duders and myself. Kibbelz had the prettiest map but I felt that it really wasn't much of a valley. Justin's map was solid, well designed and generally looking good. Duders' map was very aesthetically pleasing, and his use of the little weed tufts was so awesome that I tried to replicate it in my map. His map was also very big, and so he had the room for many details, like the castle and the tent. I like my map because it feels like a valley and is aesthetically appealing.Another thing, a lot of people have broken links. I'm sure the tileset I used hasn't been seen before and I thought that would help get me some points but I guess not. Next mapping contest I'm going to use RMXP tiles.
