Some old sprites & tiles

Was looking through my collection of 16x16 graphics I made, and it's inspired me to start making some more again soon, now that I have a short mid-year holiday at university. The mockups below are all re-sized to 200%.

Simple map I made. If you can't view it all, right click it and press 'view image'.

Some sprites. All the skin, armor, eyes and hair is greyscale, I used a program to color them all for the preview. Also some basic lighting/rain effects.

My latest work on the tileset from late last year.

Hoping to work more on my spriting skills, and my fictional world of Elandor. Perhaps I'll have more updates soon?

@Harris:

> Were these for the game that you and Robin were working on?

Robin sure did offer to code. It was just plans and ideas. I created so much music and graphics for a proposed project. Even today I still spend time developing the world and everything in it. Not sure what I'll make of it, part of me wants to wait until I finish uni and get a job, I could potentially fund it big-time. But maybe over the summer (Australian) holidays I'll look into something small, perhaps I'll see if Robins still interested. Whatever the case, I'm getting some big work done on the project. I love game-design. Perhaps I'll write and share some articles of my plans and thoughts.

Beau, kickstart it.

Honestly, kickstart Elandor Chronicles as a single player game. 75% of kickstarters end up being a success, if you set a reasonable goal you might as well be in the happier part of that project. You'll create your own engine paying that jew Robin or someone else, you can make your own graphics, I'll write and concept for free. Then you can release it on Steam/PSN/XBLA (I have access to legitimate xbox development tools)

And my mother is dithered pretty well.

@bluefroggy09:

> I love the style of these, they are very nice!

@Nerdoc:

> This is great work man. Nice palette and the pixel art is tight.

Thanks, something I want to work on now is actually improving my palettes.

@Kusy:

> Start a kickstarter and get some fag from Kotaku to post about it. It's supper effective.

Thanks again for the tips. I'm going to get more designs done, and some more art so I can put together a shiny video for funding purposes.

I remember when this was a WIP. To be honest, you have continuously amazed me with all of the work that you have produced. WoH, this, and even that mock-up of a birds eye view of that city block. All of your work is pretty sick man.

@Likestodraw:

> It's awesome! Were the mockups made in Eclipse? If so, I NEED THAT LIGHTING SYSTEM!

Nah, just mocked them up in 001 engine.
