  1. To me it looks as if it was floating above the wooden floor. If it wasn't for that (And you clearly stating that you made it ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//tongue.png)), I would've believed it was actually a guitar. Nice work!
  2. > has it ended ? O: > > > Yup. Judges should uhh. Judge now. :| Aww man, too bad. My game was almost 90% complete. I started making this too late (yesterday night)… Might as well keep working on it after all... Even I was having a good time seeing my pet happy every now and then, :') Good luck to the participants, anyways. ![:)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//smile.png)
  3. Wow. It's truly an honor to witness Splattered for a second time. Honestly, I was not expecting to see this game in a 3D setting. But, as long as Splattered's concept remains in there, I shall not complain in any form. It is nice to see how much dedication you are putting into this game; it's absolutely worth taking a look. I ask myself thought, when is the day that I'll have the chance to play this game? The severs appear to be offline as of current time and date. Too bad, ![:(](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//sad.png).

    Ape!

It looks pretty awesome possum. I must say that, I love your work. Thought, I'm not the type of guy who would wear a t-shirt with that.
  5. Wow, man, that looks outstanding. What is this for, anyways (If I'm allowed to ask, of course)?
  6. It looks great but, I think that what you're missing are the shadows that should go below the tree's leaves, in the tree's stump upper area. Hope that helps.
  7. Looking good, Jake! As always!
  8. I'm the proud owner of a very crappy netbook. Enough said.
  9. > Gotcha. > > …And a jack-o-lantern is a pumpkin with the face carved out. No light necessary, although possibly preferred. Oh, I'm sorry. My bad. I'm not very familiar with this term. Thanks for clearing that out to me, thought.
  10. > Looks pretty sick man! Keep up the good work. > > Also, is that shadow alpha blended, or just for the mock-up? (In reference to your pumpkin sprite's shadow in your other thread) The pumpkin's shadow should look a lot like this in-game. Thought, this is just a mock-up and does not represent the quality of the final product. > Cool blog! I think the tiles are wonderful, and I especially love the Jack-o-Lantern. It's just a pumpkin. There is no light coming out from it.
  11. Love your blog, Jake! Loving the progress as well!

    Login UI

Hey there. Well, the colors would look good on a website, but not on a game logic screen. The colors should describe some aspects of your game. Everything else looks pretty decent and since the logo is temporary, not going to comment on it. Basically, everything is pretty good but the colors.
  13. Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess **Uncharted 2: Among Thieves** **Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception** Tales of Phantasia Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced Fire Emblem Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stone Pokemon Silver Pokemon Sapphire Dead Space Silent Hill 2 Silent Hill 3 Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Silent Hill Homecoming Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga There are a lot of good games in this world. I haven't played them all, but from the games I've played, my favorite game would be Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Just behind it, in second place, there is Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and last but not least, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

    New Site

I'm impressed. The new forum software and layout gives Eclipse a improved modern look. It clearly looks amazing! But what truly amazes me is that, after many years, Eclipse is still growing up as an engine and a community. Congratulations on the new look! It's outstanding!
  15. The retro style has a simplistic and nostalgic appeal. It is easy to produce and easy to edit. The chibi style has a beautifully unmatched appeal which could easily attract more users. It is obviously harder to produce than the retro style, but it is worth every second you put into it. If I were you, I'd go for the chibi style.
  16. I'm not pretty sure if you're following a particular style, or something similar but, you should focus on working on a more realistic outline. Mushrooms aren't quite that big, or at least that's what I remember. The same thing applies to the flowers. Trees should be more rounded and its roots should be visible. I do not possess any knowledge of what the black small thing is. Could that be small trees? Doubt it. The cliffs should have a dark brown color (or a color that resembles the ground). I hope this helped you in any way.
  17. Yeah, as the person above me mentioned, the shading is something that you should work on. Start by adding more shades. Another recommendation would be an outline(To fit the style your going for). Just saying. But, putting everything else aside, it looks very good. What is that to the left of his head? That is how he looks on a mini-map or something related? About the grass… Well, it looks right with the small background and size it has been given, but I'm not sure if it will still look great on a big screen. Personal opinion. Anyways, it look pretty decent, you just need to give 'em some final touches.
  18. And yet again, another amazing song by Kreator has been released. You've really improved a lot since you uploaded Maelstrom!
  19. @Fuu: > Was implying he's an idiot. Oh, goodness, thank you for clearing that out! @Eckhart: > There's no way a little 2D particle system could cause an FPS drop unless there's a memory leak or something. Well, Java doesn't agrees with you.
  20. Wow, you're very talented Yumi. Suscribed plus liked videos. Going to share as well, your talents deserve it. Holy fuck, y u no make Johto Wild Pokemon theme? Fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
  21. @[rose: > link=topic=78220.msg838805#msg838805 date=1329416486] > I find some of the expressions to be odd, but the rest looks very good. Agreed. God, it looks real awesome, man, good job.
  22. @Fuu: > You replied twice. Oh, wow, couldn't have figured that out by myself. ![](http://freshbread.blogs.com/photos/uncategorized/2007/09/04/captainobvious.jpg) @Whack: > These are obviously not the final graphics. I got a new update and here's a new recent picture with missiles and particle engine programmed: Wow, those effects are damn pretty. Just wondering, do you think that the particle system is going to take a lot of power from GPU/CPU? Because I have a shitty computer, I mean, netbook. Basically, my netbook is not so shitty, but when games need Hardware TnL(Shadows and Lights), my pc kind of… you know... runs the game with low FPS. I'd recommend an option to turn the Particle System on or off.
  23. Looks rather sexy. The video caught me the most. The graphics suit up with the style and game type, but I don't like 'em honestly. Can't wait to give it a try! And the website just gave me an orgasm.
  24. That's ultimately gorgeous. Wow.
