It looks like it is very well done dithered. But it just doesn't have much contrast though. Change the brightness difference of the colours used.

The character is not shaded the same way as the background. I think darker shades or more tanned shades with greater dithering. Overall, great work on the environment.

Just a few criticisms. As these people are just all omgomgo, the dog/sheep(3rd down on the right) looks like it's squatting. And the archers platebody just looks like a normal t-shirt. Just made it more "puffy". Don't worry, I always now criticise over everything. I'm loving the style.

Is the difference the tree? Well done, with the colour choice, doesn't stand out (good) as you don't want to be punched in the face with pines when playing games do you? Anyway. What you need more is colours and shading. The leaves have 2 colours, I suggest having a direction of light. As in on one side, its lighter and on the other it's darker. For example, a tree I did.
