Been quite a while since Marsh ruled, and no idea where Baron is, been at least as long since.

If you'd actually finish it, that'd be great. As you said, it has been discussed, and worked on several times before, but never got to a point where it was a working engine. I say go for it, and see how it goes. Be prepared though, people will expect a lot from these things, and they're very time consuming.

I really like the ruby, I do think the emerald could use a bit of work, it feels like it could have a few added hues, and the sapphire as well as the … golden diamond(?) is of a lower standard, perhaps I just don't like the style of them, because they do differ from the other ones. I like them more with a more defined outline, and while the golden diamond had that, it seems extremely plane, I'm not sure exactly how the structure of it is. But I must say, the ruby actually really good. The Sword is pretty standard, well made and looks solid. The Staff or Wand, whatever it is, feels like it's too small and cramped, I guess you only have so much space to work with.

Yes, simply making a webpage create text files that matches the layout of an account for your engine would be sufficient, the webserver has to have access to the game server though, making it slightly complicated if they're on different servers.

You'll probably get the best result by doing it from the bottom up.

Aside from the mentioned things above about sprites obviously being taken from other sources than your own(and from what we know, without the owners knowledge), there's a huge fundamental problem with a game like this, which is sort of related, and that is the copyright of the products you have the game be all about(the anime). There has been several similar cases of games being shut down due to copyright infringement.

Could consider something that isn't square patches of grass/roads, diagonal(45, 30,15 degrees etc) and other things makes it look a lot smoother. The lightning from the lamps look really odd, at least during the day, as the picture shows.

For clarity, I'll be posting my opinion on the thread from a moderator's perspective. This thread does not break any rules, and is on-topic, it doesn't offend anyone in comparison to what else has been said unpunished at other times, and it is a serious discussion. It's all up in the air, I have not been able to follow everything that has happened behind the scenes(Skype conversations is really dumb to keep updates in, especially with a lot of dead talk and several other ways to communicate efficiently among the staff members. I'm just stating this, to make a point that this thread shouldn't be deleted/locked, since previous posts seem to have been locked for no real valid reason.

Seems very simple and useful, looking good, I sort of feel the need to update the ui though, from a design point of view that is.

I believe that there are certain people that are just tiring to be around, that somehow just drains your energy, I don't see them as vampires though, I'd just see them as annoying people.

So, it's an interface that runs on top of Windows? Sounds interesting, but how does it out-perform other alternatives? I'd love if youi'd give some statistics to back some of these claims up, and aside from the eye-candy, is there any advantage to run this instead of, well, no external interface?

You don't need to bump your post after mere 3 hours, or at all, also you already had a thread with the same problem. To answer your question, make sure to install the runtime files, and make sure you install them as administrator.

The reason we originally switched was because the previous forum was practically breaking apart beyond repair. On a note of the original topic of this thread, there's currently a forum designated to suggest and give feedback to help improve Eclipse, that will guaranteed to be seen by the staff.
