  1. Hey, I was just fooling around with my midi prog for a little while and here's what I came up with. I like it, but it lacks "something". Any suggestions/comments? http://www.freewebs.com/balliztik/messing%20around.mid
  2. S k i l l = love? When did this happen? I just noticed that Unnownzor was working on a "love editor", and was all "WTF?" "Both Baron and Ilnair have a script that you can use to create any love you want…" Lol
  3. Okay, I can't decide what to do for a starting city on my game…I've decided on either a desert town, or a snowy town. Any opinions? I'm going with whatever gets the most votes.
  4. > Just to clarify for future reference: > > I highly suggest my tutorial on commands over this. This is an easy way out for a non-scripter, but it is by far not the best way to go about making a command. I would incorporate my tutorial into the command maker, but there is required a sense of logic when scripting these commands that can't be emulated. The limited range of this program makes it all but useless, having use with only a few commands. Well, I thought that old 5 minute POS that was my old command maker was needing a little tune up, so I redid the whole thing. You can get it here: http://www.yourfilehost.com/media.php?cat=other&file=commandmaker_v3.zip It works a bit differently now though, but you'll get the same script pretty much. ~~The first text box is, as it says, the number of variables. Just fill in how many variables your command will have, easy as that.~~ Next, is the command name. This is what goes after the / in the command, so if you type in "thing", then, in game, you would type "/thing…etc.....". The third box says variables, separated by commas. So if you want the variables pie, grapes, and roxor, then just type "pie, grapes, roxor". Only one thing is bothering me. I don't seem to get the same number as the program does for "If Len(Textsay)
  5. Well, I haven't shared a midi in a while, so I figured I'd give it a go again. This time, I have three songs, one done, two works in progress, which are all in the same scale (C Spanish Scale), so I'm mixing parts of the songs together, and It's turning out nicely, IMO. http://www.freewebs.com/balliztik/instrument%20testing.mid This is the song that is finished. It's nothing great, just playing around with some different instruments. Just for fun, I threw in a fast duet part. http://www.freewebs.com/balliztik/intro.mid This is the song that I'm mixing together parts for. The intro is the only part actually done for sure. http://www.freewebs.com/balliztik/main%20riff.mid This is what may be going in as the main part of the song and will be repeated throughout the song. This isn't done. I'm probably gonna add another instrumnet or two to it. http://www.freewebs.com/balliztik/foolin%20around.mid This is probably not going in. I just took the fast part from the instrument testing and threw it in to see what it would sound like. So, that's what I got for now. Please give feedback ;D
  6. Well, the creator of Sunset Sorrow asked me to make some music for him, so I made this. It's a bit inconsistent with my usual style, but I was trying something new. I was thinking this could be his title midi. Sound good? http://www.freewebs.com/balliztik1/sunset%20sorrow.mid Feedback would be delicious. P.S. I smothered it with instruments :P
  7. [This has nothing to do with Eclipse, so I'm posting in Chit Chat] I'm looking for a small group of people, who know a lot about Dungeons and Dragons, are skilled with Neverwinter Nights Aurora Toolset, Someone who knows C/C++ well (probably not needed), or someone who is good at creating storylines. The reason I'm looking for people with these skills is that I am planning on making a module for Neverwinter Nights, and want to know who is interested. I've done a few simple mods before, so I have experience with the Toolset, and I'm willing to be in charge of the actual creation of the module (unless someone is better with the toolset, of course). You don't have to have Neverwinter Nights, or know how to use the toolset, to help, but it would be awesome if you did. If you are interested, PM me, reply here, email me/add me to MSN ([email protected]).
  8. Here's a song I'm writing in the D# Phrygian Mode. No clue what that means, but please listen and give feedback ;D And sorry for it ending so abruptly…musician's block :-\ http://www.freewebs.com/balliztik1/pianos.mid (Eew Freewebs)
  9. Holy crap, you do not know how hard these were to find. I went through Myshuki's post into the old forum, searched around through Renzo's previous posts to find a thread where Techno posted, and went through his posts to find this. Thanks to Techno 5.0 for finding them all originally. http://sprites.fireball20xl.com/index.php http://www.videogamesprites.net/ http://www.freewebs.com/awesomesprites/index.htm and dont forget about this site… http://www.freegraphics.kazorum.com/ http://www.videogamesprites.net/History/ http://www.fattyboy.com/olddefault.htm http://unhappy-song.net/adoptions/sprites.html http://www.videogamesprites.net/Sitemap/ http://kamain.com/files.php http://www.createforum.com/phpbb/index.php?sid=8349011494d5d90e94b87924a65b4028&mforum=spike
  10. Awesome. Anyone else watch (or going to watch) Metalocalypse tonight? Pure genius. I wish it wasn't only once a week though. And I'm changing my signaturenature after hearing the most awesome quote ever.
  11. I just went to a private screening of Gridiron Gang, and I have to say, it is an excellent football movie. I don't remember hearing anything about this movie, so when my mom said we were going, I didn't know what to expect. It stars Dwayne Johnson ("the Rock") and Xzibit as juvenile detention center workers. They are trying to stop gang violence by working with teenagers who have committed crimes. They end up forming a football team to teach the kids discipline and teamwork. The movie was very good. There were many funny parts, but many intense parts as well. The characters are very well acted, and you learn to love em in the short film time. I realize this review sucks…but the movie was awesome. Even those who aren't big fans of football have said they liked it. I highly recommend you go see it. I'd rate it a 10/10. Feel free to slap me around for a crappy review.
  12. Here's a couple clips of two versions of a midi I am making. They aren't finished but please listen. http://www.freewebs.com/balliztik1/harpsipeggio.mid http://www.freewebs.com/balliztik1/harpsipeggio_echoish.mid Two questions about these: 1) Echo or not? 2) Does this sound like Runescape music (someone told me my music sounds like RS)
  13. I found a program called UltraEdit that edits just about any kind of file out there. It has some good features for scripting. I've only had it a few hours, and haven't really messed with it too much, but it is great so far. :)It's only a 45 day free trial, so it's no permanent thing. Here's the link. [http://www.ultraedit.com/index.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=1](http://www.ultraedit.com/index.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=1) If there's something else like this that's free indefinately, let me know. Some features for editing in Visual Basic: -List of Subs and Functions (click to go to them instantly) -Color Coded text -Find (ctrl+f) Function that can highlight, count, or list all matches. Just found out that it backs up files automatically when you edit them.
  14. When you kick someone, does it run the leftgame sub? I've been trying to test it, but you can't kick yourself :P
  15. Need…human...interaction... What type of music do you like? I like classical music and heavy metal ( I know, weird combination). My favorite band is Rhapsody (pretty much a combination of my two favs :)).
  16. I was bored and something came to mind, so here it is! [http://www.freewebs.com/balliztik/wth.mid](http://www.freewebs.com/balliztik/wth.mid) I'm probably going to modify (make it less…quirky) and put in my game.
  17. I have a CTF script that I am running and I am making it available to the public, but I want your opinion. Should I add on some extra features (like reward systems etc) and take more time doing it, or should I just release what I have now (which works). Your call, guys. And feel free to suggest any additions that you'd like to see in a CTF game. (I didn't post in scripts, because it's not really the script…yet. I'll move if you want though)
  18. I have been creating some puzzles for my game and I have gotten them to work so far, but I'm out of ideas. Post some ideas here, and I'll see if I can get them to work. So far I have made: A puzzle with a combination lock on a chest and buttons you have to push to find the right code. A maze with keys and such.
  19. Here's some screenshots of the game I've been working on. ![](http://www.freewebs.com/balliztik/ss1.gif) ![](http://www.freewebs.com/balliztik/ss2.gif) ![](http://www.freewebs.com/balliztik/ss3.gif) ![](http://www.freewebs.com/balliztik/ss4.gif) I know, I messed up the road in a couple places. I'm going to fix and reupload later.
  20. I was bored so I decided to make some stick people playing in a band. :P
