Because this is 9 kb. However, it does require you to have the .net framework, which means yet another download potentially. That alone might be enough to put users off. Downloading a runtime to install your runtimes is no fun.
  2. Looks like your biggest issue here is bad line art. You've got some areas that appear overly thick. I did a quick edit: ![](http://beaubuckley.info/derrick/SwordEdit.png) As you can see, I didn't change much. I just widened the thin parts of the blade, then made the hilt less huge. You've got to watch for things like that. Just compare how each looks and notice what I did differently. Also, you need more contrast. Your colors are mostly similar shades. This doesn't highlight anything about the weapon. As for the sprite, it's actually not too bad. It looks a bit awkward that the only details on the body are nipples, but that can be rectified easily enough. The legs are also a bit unshaped. There should be some knees in there somewhere.
  3. This is made in VBGore, isn't it? It's got most of the default UI. We have an "other games" section for non-Eclipse games, but only for active community members (25+ posts), and even then we don't allow recruitment threads for non-Eclipse games without admin permission. Send a message to one of the board admins if you'd like to apply for permission. Locking this up for now.
  4. When was the last time you played, Helladen? When my most recent membership ran out, I was pleasantly surprised to find that their new separate member and free bank sections works wonderfully. I've got 200+ items that I can't use right now stored, but at least I don't have to throw them away.
  5. There, changed the topic name. We actually have a rule against ridiculous thread names, so refrain from the caps and overused exclamations in the future, if you would. As for your question, it's basically how the above posters put it. You know what forum types you're using, and you know your host. Without precise details, we can't really help you. Even with those details, though, this isn't a forum support website. I'm sure you can check out the help section for whatever site hosts your forum and get the clarification you need. Either that, or Google what you're looking for. As it is, there's no guarantee that someone here is knowledgeable on the specifics of what you need.
  6. @Im_Mad_1337: > @Kreator: > > > Pixel by Pixel, in MS Paint. > > Holy **** thats even more amazing then I thought. *idolized* Lol xD Something tells me you're new to the 2D MMO scene. All the pixel art is drawn out by hand. Then again, given that 99% of Mirage-based games aren't fully custom, I suppose that's a merited response. Elandor Chronicles isn't going to skimp out though. We have 100% custom everything - graphics, music, storyline, setting, engine. If we're going to make a game, we're going to do it right. Good to have a fan of our graphics though. If you fancy a gander at Beau's amazing work, check out the http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php?board=459.0 board, particularly the preview threads. I think you'll be equally amazed.
  7. SMBO got the same letter, minus the "Legend of Zelda" reference. They just copy and paste that shit. Nintendo didn't give SMBO permission. They explicitly stated that they never give permission to fan games.
  8. Ohai, I didn't recognize you for a second. Congrats on the 100th post. You now have a green name. Sorry for the off-topic. I just stumbled into this thread and noticed. *tips hat and leaves*
  9. Don't worry, Azure. I'm head of the writing team. What's the worse that little ol' me could do? *shoves whips, handcuffs, and various other implements into closet*
  10. @Wraith: > jk, don't fire me :P I was about to comment that you're not allowed to be in on that joke, but then I realized that you ARE working for Beau. xD I saw your concept art. Was quite impressive. Enjoy being fired, sir. It's our way of welcoming you. ;) As for WoH being done for, I hate to hear it, but with the breaks in WoH's development that kept occurring and working on two projects at once, at least this gives Beau a bit of refocus. Instead of worrying about progress for two games, he can relax a bit and just have to worry about keeping us delinquents in line. ;D

    [eo] help

Run through the slots, checking the NPC number. If it's 0, it's empty.
  12. Understandable, but the cat shit might ruin it a bit. Just sayin.
  13. Yeah, going as far back in the source as possible is never a good idea. Kind of like if you need a new roof, you wouldn't start pulling bricks from the foundation. The equipment enumeration handles a lot more than just paperdoll. To actually change the paperdoll blitting order, you'll have to edit the paperdolling subs.
  14. Edited files or not, if you don't have VB6, this isn't going to be compilable. Plus, since this is a third party edit, and a new Origins release is potentially coming out soon, compiling these edits into new executables would only benefit people for a couple days. Then, they'd be left with non-transferable items for the new version.
  15. Robin said that map animations would eventually be in.
  16. No you don't. Beau just needs to learn to link. ;) http://www.worldofhyrule.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1256
  17. Most of the stuff is included in the download of Eclipse. Just check any (besides EO) version's "data" folder. That'll be pretty much all you need.
  18. Those are the form files. To save you from having to reorganize, etc., you just download those and replace your old forms.
  19. If you don't like losing pawns, there's always the RPG addons, where you buy abilities and raid dungeons and such. ;D Those are pretty good fun for teamwork.
  20. Remember, even with high values, you'd be limited to the amount of map NPCs, item drops, etc. But yes, changing to integer or long would expand the size limits.
  21. @cowin000: > could you help me then….. We are trying to help you. This isn't done. We can't just give you the code to do it because it's not created yet. It will eventually be done, just stop making topics about it. Instead, you can keep an eye out for downloads that feature a system like this.
  22. Quit posting multiple times. There's a "modify" button on the top right that allows you to edit on to your post, if needed. The only system that is complete like this is my script in the database. Barring you getting that to work, you'll just have to wait until a proper system is released.
  23. Well, a knowledge of some coding is required to use my system, so there's not much I can do there, as I'd have to create each conversation file for you. You can always post on the source question board. As for quests, you can also find some quest scripts in the database. Most are just simple copy/paste, so you should be able to get those just fine. And no, not that topic. That's plans for a future edit. If you can't get this done/ripped for you, you might just wait until that system is completed.
